Find A Grave Memorial# 18409107
Michelle,
William Frazee & Sarah Belle Frazee are my mothers grandparents.
Lydia Frazee Pitts was her mother.
Wilson Pitts was her brother.

William, Sarah Belle and Lydia died about the same time in 1918 with the Flu epidemic in 1918.

William and Sarah came to the William Joe Pitts farm for Lydia to care for them. They brought the flu with them. Lydia caught the flu and they all died in the home together. Leaving Laurine (my mother) Laurine Pitts Hawkins deLange 1917 to 2003, Allen Glen Pitts 1916, Opal Pitts Thompson 1909, Lucile Pitts Wade 1912, Wilson Pitts, 1913 to 1936, Bud Pitts 1908 to 1985.

My Mother remembers this from the story her Grandmother Nancy Ann Pitts told her. It was also confirmed by Lucile & Opal in the 1960's when they reconnected after the girl children were given away after their mothers death approximately 2 to 3 years later. The boys were taken by their father to work in timber to Washington state.

Wilson died in 1936 after a fight in which he's belly was torn open by his combatant with a knife. Confirmed by his brother Bud. Wilson got Bud home where he languished for days until he was taken by Gangrene. Mom was taken to say goodbye by her foster parents, John Oliver Hawkins and Francis Octavia Caby Hawkins. Who had to travel from Glendale Arizona, where they had settled to farm in 1935.

To the best of my knowledge this is their story. I have one cousin left and we are the last who heard this from our mothers. It was not something that my mother was proud of, she resented her father all my life. That this is what he did. He seemed to live off others through out life until his death in 1965. I met him once but could since there was no love there between my mother and him. I would like to post this with you as a part of my families history. For other relatives who may not know this history and may wonder.

Use of photos
Hi Michelle,
I would love to be able to include two of the photos from Find A Grave Memorial# 7578926 -- Jonathan Gearhart -- in family memory books (online and printed). Would like your permission to do so, of course giving you proper / appropriate credit as owner of the photos.

Thank you.

Nancy, thank you for your work here. When you photographed this stone, were you able to make our what was printed below her name? I have enlarged it but still can't make it out. Thanks so much for your help. Joyce

I was wondering if you would please let me have the page to Lila Jean (Tull) Trader. I have been working on our family tree and she is my Uncles daughter. Her memorial # 16822182 and my member # is 48914656. Thank you very much. To be honest with every Tull and Frazee in the cemetery is related to me. Thanks again for your help.

James Allen Folmar at Kyser Peck Cemetery
Michelle,

Do you have a higher resolution photo of James Allen's tombstone? The one with his memorial was added back in the days when Find A Grave only allowed small-sized pictures, and it's difficult to read the dates on his stone.

Thanks for your help,
Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal
