Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I are primarily documenting cemeteries in Washington and Frederick Counties in Maryland. We are documenting the entire cemetery, section by section, row by row, taking pictures of every stone. Everyone should be remembered, and family members should not have to beg for a picture of the stone.

All edits, corrections and links are welcome. I would appreciate it if you would use the "edit" feature on the memorial to send me edits and requests for transfer. Sorry, but due to time restraints I am going to have to ignore/delete any requests that are left on my profile page. If I decline an edit it is because I cannot find proof - and yes, I research every edit. If I do decline I always add a comment with the reason. You would not believe how many edits I get that I have to decline because they are incorrect.

I WILL ONLY LINK TO MEMORIALS THAT ARE IN ACTUAL CEMETERIES. This is Find-a-Grave - if you don't know where they are buried don't put them in. Please read the FAG rules. If you put a memorial in without a cemetery you have 30 days to add the cemetery.

I would like to thank everyone who has sent me edits and links, especially FAG Contributors, Eloop III and Genealogy Nut.

We all need a chuckle now and then:

TUCKER, a pet cat owned by W.E. Itnyre, Boonsboro, which died last week at the ripe age of 18 years, was given a real burial, the remains of the feline, which was highly prized by the family, being laid to rest in a coffin, which had been constructed by the cat's owner at the Maryland Pressed Steel plant here. The coffin had been used by salesman for the Montross Metal Casket Co., in selling the product.

Paul H. McFarland, Jr. was a Doctor. He was a highly respected Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. Dr. McFarland was a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery AND Associate Dean of Post Graduate Dental Education at the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston.
If you would like to add these facts to his Memorial, I feel certain his former students would appreciate seeing them. You certainly have my permission.
I was a dental student from 1974 to 1978 at the UT Dental School and had Dr. McFarland as one of my professors. I knew him personally.

You need to put in the marriage year 1899 so the 3 marriages of Edwin Broomall come out in order on his page. His # 169866644. She is his third marriage.

RE: John Wolf
Thank you. It was such a shock. He actually passed away Friday the 7th and I had just spoken to him that day, but he wasn't discovered until Sunday, when I received a call from the police (I live 3 hours away). I talked to him all the time and we visited each other frequently. I know he was 82 but he was a very active, independent man who was healthy except for some recent breathing issues. My head has been spinning and I've been taking care of his affairs and funeral the whole week, so I'm still in shock over the loss of my father. It probably won't fully hit me until I'm back home and not talking to him every other day anymore.
