Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been doing genealogy since I was 15. Collected a lot of old bibles and pics when I was young from the older generations which worked out good, because they would have been thrown out when they died. I love FAG and have found many ancestors on here and met a lot of people on here. Willing to help anybody who has ancestors in Maryland.

Thanks for your note. My Great Grandmother was a Wagner. Are you from Baltimore?

Hello Kim. I noted that you left a note at the grave site for Elmer H. Thompson of Baltimore. Are you a family member? Please leave a note. Thanks!

Kim, Do you have any more information on Gatley
Tawes? He was the son of John Hyslop Tawes and
Virginia M. Emanis. I believe that he was drowned at the age of 14 or 15. You can contact
me at gdtawes@charter.net Thank you

Thomas M. Moore
Hello,

I have info on Thomas M. Moore that you might be interested in. He is buried with some of my ancestors (he married Maria Louis Jackson, my 3rd great grand aunt). I visited the family plot, but can't find any photos of his grave marker. I will keep looking. He is buried in Section I, Lot 2. I also have a copy of the cemetery lot card that shows his burial date of January 2, 1906 and shows his name as "Thomas Mahool/Mahoel Moore."

He married Maria on March 25, 1972 (I have a copy of the marriage announcement from the Baltimore Sun). The inscription on his grave marker reads "To the memory of my beloved husband Thomas M. Moore, son of Captain William and Ann L. Moore, born 1841, died 1905." I also know that the address where the funeral was held is 1805 Farimount Avenue, not 1905 (I have a copy of the Balt. Sun. obituary and have found the family in Baltimore City Directories at 1805).

Please let me know if you are intersted in copies of these documents and I will post them as photos on his entry.

Thank you for your work for Find-a-Grave.

Carol

RE: George Schaechtel
What would be a good place to research your local newspapers for him? I live in Arkansas and only found this family with a matching surname via Find A Grave. I'm just so sure that this family will fit in with my information prior to immigrating to the US. I have very limited information about my husband's side of the Schaechtel surname in Alsace, Germany (France). It was a region that was both under France control and German control, so that confuses my searches a lot! LOL! If you want to do any searching, I would greatly appreciate ANY help at all! Thanks!

George Schaechtel
Do you have any more information about George Schaechtel's father? He was married to Barbara E. Brickman and had numerous children in Maryland. I'm trying to connect this Schaechtel family with my own, with little success. Thank you for any information you may provide to me.
