If you see a butterfly in the flowers and notes section, the information on that memorial came from a death certificate.

If you send an email be sure to put findagrave in the subject line. Sometimes mail lands in the spam box. Anything that lands in SPAM is automatically deleted without opening.

Please DO NOT post photos of obituaries on my memorial pages. If you send me the info I will be glad to post it as long as you give me source and date of the article. If you do not want to type it, send me a photo copy and I will type it.
Per findagrave guidelines "Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."

PLEASE, PLEASE use the edit tab in the upper right of the memorial page, click on the appropriate selection and fill in the blanks or select suggest a correction and make your comment, suggestion, transfer request etc. This makes it easier for you and me.

A number of memorials in Saranac Cemetery in Saranac, Michigan have been transferred to me. If you have any additional info about any of these I will be glad to transfer them.

Thank you!
Dottie, thank you so much for the photo of my aunt Mary! Previously, only the headstone with her husband George's name was shown, now it's complete.
Thanks again so very much.

Hi Dottie, thanks for accepting the edits for Ella Duncan Bray. I have one request, would you please remove my name and member number off the memorial. The information on her parents came from her death certificate, which I found when researching her siblings who died in childhood. I have no further information on her parents to share with anyone.

I don't think it would delete them but I'll go back and send another request and see if it will save the parents..but that was not the intent.

Thank you for your vote of confidence to accept the edit to link Florence Clark #68208040 to her father.

I would be pleased if you would go to my Bio and visit my parents' memorials by clicking on their links.

thank you
Dear Dottie,
Thank you for taking a photo of my dear family friend's grave. My mom knew Joe Fleischmann since she was about 3 years old in Germany. My parents introduced his sister to my dad's first cousin in about 1949 in New York. They became parents of my cousins. I lived in Norfolk in 1970, my first time away from home. Joe was like an uncle to me then, and remained so. I'm the family genealogist and appreciate this so much.

Sincerely,
Lin Herz

RE: Memorial 126662000
Well, my thought was that, on having a printed copy of the obit, the typed BIO section could then be left open for other further biographical information.
