"If you don't have time to do it right, when will you have time to do it over?"|
-Coach John Wooden
If you see a butterfly in the flowers and notes section, the information on that memorial came from a death certificate.
If you send an email be sure to put findagrave in the subject line. Sometimes mail lands in the spam box. Anything that lands in SPAM is automatically deleted without opening.
Please DO NOT post photos of obituaries on my memorial pages. If you send me the info I will be glad to post it as long as you give me source and date of the article. If you do not want to type it, send me a photo copy and I will type it.
Per findagrave guidelines "Similarly, you may NOT scan an obituary and add it as a photograph to a memorial record."
PLEASE, PLEASE use the edit tab in the upper right of the memorial page, click on the appropriate selection and fill in the blanks or select suggest a correction and make your comment, suggestion, transfer request etc. This makes it easier for you and me.
A number of memorials in Saranac Cemetery in Saranac, Michigan have been transferred to me. If you have any additional info about any of these I will be glad to transfer them.

|Daphene Willoughby||RE: Alexander L MUHLIG # 133620641|
Dottie, I apologize, that must have been one of my senior moments.
It was intended to be a name change. And I agree they should not have allowed it to go through. Recently I found a memorial where the main person was his own father AND his own son. I can't figure that one out. It took me a long time to get the person to correct it.
I appreciate your reply; and thank you for all you do for Find a grave.

You declined my edit for Alexander MUHLIG on December 5, 2016; implying his middle name was not Laurance or his first name was not Alexander, I do not remember which. The photo that was posted clearly says: A.Laurance.
I sent it to Find A Grave; and got a reply to contact you about this. Then I find that you have changed it as I requested a few weeks ago.
Disappointed in your response.
Do not mean to be negative, but it takes time to do these edits, and I take it very seriously and will not send one unless I am 99% sure that it is correct.

Sorry about the edit. Looking through my notes I can't find what I sent you. As you said , it was wrong. I have over two hundred "Harrell" in my family and I'm trying to fill in all the blanks. Right now I don't have much on James Riddick Harrell, so what you have helps.
If you have the info I sent I would like to see it so I know my mistake.
Thanks for accepting edit.

Thanks for responding Dottie. You might get a second email concerning Willie-I wasn't sure the first one had gotten through.
The young Willie's headstone shows 1916 and Grandma told me he died when he was 18 (typhoid?) so that fits. He is on the other side with his parents, Grace and Herbert Lee Edwards and unmarried sister Ellen. On the tombstone it reads Herbert Wm. Edwards and Grandma called him Willie.
Old Willie',s wife Virginia Caroline King Edwards is at Magnolia as well but she is not buried in the same area as the above group.

Thank you so much for the transfer.

Thank you for posting my mothers grave.
|Chris ||Sophia Barnam|
Hello Dottie: Thank you for the transfer of Sophia Barnum. This family is complicated because all of the Ingersoll children are listed on the family monument in East Farmington Cemetery but none of them are buried there. I'll explain it on Sophia's memorial so that people know what's going on. Enjoy the holidays...
