Hi, my name is Maggie, and I currently live in Virginia with my husband and children. Genealogy has been one of my hobbies since 1993. I enjoy researching whether it is for my own famly or for others. Most of my memorials have no relationship to me. I hope posting these online is of help to others searching for their families. If you find errors on any of my entries, please e-mail me. I will be glad to fix them. If you find your family memorial that I've entered and would like ownership, let me know so I can turn it over to you.|
A special thank you to the photo volunteers that have taken pictures of my family and uploaded them for me.
A CEMETERY EXISTS BECAUSE EVERY LIFE IS WORTH LOVING AND REMEMBERING. IT IS A SUSTAINING SOURCE OF COMFORT FOR THE LIVING.
PRESERVING HISTORY AND BEAUTIFYING
ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC CEMETERY
I'm currently working on memorials for this cemetery. It's a work-in-progress as I begin the task of mapping the cemetery out. On the Find a Grave page it states that 69% of the photos have been taken. However, my brother-in-law, Johnny and I have photographed this cemetery and there are many headstones that are either missing or unable to read due to age. Numerous headstone tablets have fallen off their bases, and footstones are broken or crooked. A large number of graves are very old. Even though the preservation of headstones rely on family, many of the deceased have no surviving family members and/or have moved away and cannot care for landscaping or markers.
I'm constantly updating this cemetery. If you see any errors or would like to add new information, I would love to hear from you.
If you have a loved one buried at All Saints and would like flowers or a plant put at their headstone, please contact me so we can work something out. I won't charge you for my time or gas just the actual cost of the flowers/plant of your choosing. There are so many urns just waiting to be filled. I will email you a picture of your family memorial with the flowers. Also, if you would like a headstone rubbing, I would be more than happy to accommodate your request (free). In the near future, we're hoping to locate all veterans at this cemetery and place small U.S. flags on Memorial Day and Veteran's Day. So far, we have located almost 200 veterans, but we think there are many more buried here.
Also, note that if you plan a day visit to All Saints, there are hardly any shade trees so bring plenty of water. Unfortunately, the lots and sections are no longer marked. Until I map out the cemetery, you probably will have to walk around to find your loved one. A word of caution - the ground is not level so be careful where you step.

this sight is of my mother and I would love to attach it to my records. I am new to all of this and do not know how to attach or what I have to do. Can you please help??
Also do you also have a sight like this for Henry Coffey Webber in the same cemetery. This is my father.
May I ask how you chose to make this memorial to Margaret?

Did not remember that I entered St. Paul's. But if a name change is order so be it.
|C. Cowell||William Smith in Holy Cross, Brooklyn|
I see you created a memorial for William Smith, died July 1931 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. William was married to my GGG-grandmother's sister, Emily. If you have a connection to William, I would love to compare notes. If not, could you please transfer the memorial to me (member #47578336). You can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. Looking forward to hearing from you.
