I am happy to make corrections & additions to the memorials which I maintain. If requesting a transfer, please indicate how you are related. The idea behind Find-A-Grave is not to own all your relatives memorials. I will gladly make additions, corrections, & links. Unless you express a specific reason for wishing that a memorial be transferred to you, your request will be denied. I apologize for this, but I have too many contributors who want the memorial simply because they are a relative & they have minimal or no additional information to contribute to the memorial.

FYI Bellin
Regarding you memorial for Albert Bellin 69468531 and wife Amelia.
I got to looking for the location of the 3rd child, Josephine and found her and her husband George Yost in the Neenah Cemetery, Oakhill Cemetery. I created memorials for them and linked Josephine to her parents.

This person would be my great grandfather. I am curious if any additional information would be available. Does the information come from newspaper article? If so is it possible to get copy of this?

RE: Veda Casjens
Veda's middle name came from family in letters to my mother back in the 1960's. I have found several times that the middle initial on married female headstones was the initial of their maiden name. I haven't researched much further on her, she's the wife of my 1st cousin 2 times removed.

RE: Cloyce D Brandon #402159
Yes Cloyce (John) Brandon was my maternal uncle, and I would very much like the article that appeared in the Fulda newspaper as I am working on my family genealogy.

I am sending an email to you with my address.

Thanks so much,

RE: Roy Lounsbery
Well, by golly, it looks like you did it! :)

This took way more than a village. Nice work!!

Really. I get chills when tough ones like this get solved.

RE: Roy Lounsbery
Bodies were shipped from all over here, so I had trouble understanding why Roy couldn't come home. Then I read more obits for that period of time, and Spanish Influenza was rampant, as was the subsequent pneumonia, so I can only assume that was the reason. It's a handsome stone, isn't it?

I'm sorry, the only information I have is that Clara died in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. No idea where she or Robert are buried. Good luck with your search!

RE: Roy Lounsbery
I don't know what your neck of the woods looked like at that place in time, but the December issues of the local paper (a weekly) were filled with obituaries of people dying from the Spanish Influenza, or the pneumonia that came as its 2-3 punch. One week, I think it was the 19th, had fully half the front page of obituary after obituary. I'm so glad they got Roy's in there, too. Our people may be gone, but they live on for a long long time.

The parents must have moved on. I have not yet found any of their graves.

Thanks so much for finding that grave!
