It's me again. Thank you for updating. It occurred to me that you may also want to link his wife, Emma Geismann Shick and another son, Earl S. Weiler. They are buried with him at West Union. He was born in Allentown, PA. His parents are Sylvester Weiler (1835-1875) and Sarah Schindel Weiler (1832-1890). That completes his immediate family links. Thanks again.

Just wanted to say thanks for the photo of the marker for my great-great grandfather. His middle name was Frank and records show he died in 1888 at age 33 from an accidental gunshot wound received 19 days earlier. His date of death was Nov 15. He would have been shot about Oct 27.

I received your suggestion from Find A Grave regarding the spelling. I had already changed his last name after your first message. I didn't disagree with you regarding having the name on the memorial match what is listed on the gravestone. Believe me I am well aware of families changing names, in my husband's Pysher line, it was Beischer, Pisher, Bisher and in his line finally Pysher. Rasely is another family name that is spelled a variety of ways. I always spell the name as it is on the stone even it is spelled incorrectly according to family or church records. I just list in the bio section how the family spelled the name which is what I did in David's memorial.The only question I have is where you found his birth information. The book I use on the 153rd Regiment is by Jeffrey Stocker and he lists that David was from Bethlehem, Lehigh County/Northampton County, Pennsylvania which is where his Company mustered out of not far from where I live. There is a Hanover Township in Northampton County which is also part of Bethlehem, but Beaver County is on the other side of my state by Pittsburgh. Just wondering if the edit should have been for Northampton County not Beaver.

Thank you for taking the gravestone photo of David Fashinger. In the various military records I had seen it was spelled Fatzinger but I agree they sometimes changed the spelling based on how it sounded. I was surprised to see a large gravestone for him as I found a record for a military headstone that was ordered for him at Woodvale. Thank you for your time in locating his stone and sending the additional information on him.

Thank you for this photo. Would you happen to know the location of this grave in Highland Drive Cemetery, Brecksville? an approximate area with a landmark would be wonderful. Thanks! d

|M Kostos Yoder||Thank You|
Thank you for taking a picture of my Mother, Betty Sue Kostos, sign. I was in a near fatal vehicle accident in Virginia and she passed away unexpectedly a week later (1 day before her birthday). I was unable to attend her funeral, (I am her only daughter), my son represented me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
