As we reflect on those who had their part in bringing us to where we are today; might a memorial include the LIFE it was intended to portray? Find-A-Grave avails some wonderful tools to accomplish memorials that call to honor, and to reminisce;....There are those who may indeed have led a life of solitaire;...Yet even they had a beginning as well as an end to their days. The life is gone but the memorial lives on...Each with a story to tell...Could we but tell it..|

"I dreamed death came to me one night & heavens gates flew open wide.
With kindly grace St. Peter came & ushered me inside.
There to my astonishment were friends I'd known on earth, some I had labeled as unfit & some of little worth. Indignant words flew to my lips, words I could not set free, for every face showed stunned surprise -
No one expected me"

Ah, pardon me.
There is an online registry for the cemetery.
For this one, it's 1908.
I'll send you and edit.

The death date is not helpful enough for me.
Would it be due to an illegible gravestone?
Do you know whether the cemetery has an online database of burials? If so, can you send a link to me?

Hello, I was wondering if you have any information about the family of Hugh Mabee (memorial #129852751). He was my ggg-grandmother's brother. I have been unable to locate him and his brother William in the 1851 census, even though they would have been 5 and 9 at the time, and their mother is also missing. Their father was still unmarried and living with his parents. I think they could have been from a previous marriage. If you know anything that could help solve this mystery, it would be greatly appreciated.

You are welcome. If I can help in the further, let me know.

Hi 4ever Nanny,
Your message put a smile on my face and filled my heart with happiness.
I'm thrilled I was able to provide a photo for his widow. He is an honorable man for having served our country and should not be forgotten!

In answer to your question, no, it is not the wrong cemetery. I had some problems finding Canadian cemeteries, and found the website that I referenced. It is "Hillcrest Cemetery", but there has evidently been a change to the county or provinces. Back in the 1800's the cemetery was called "Baptist Hillcrest Cemetery", located near Forestville. This area has evidently become "Haldiman". The Canadian Cemetery locator still lists the cemetery as "Baptist Hillcrest". It's a minor detail actually, but for clarity, I'm entering burial information as listed in the Canadian website. The cemetery and GPS coordinates are the same. I decided to send you a note about this, but the only difference is the name, reflected by the date of burial. My personal Tree will reflect "Baptist Hillcrest" until the change somewhere in the early 1900's. Didn't mean to say you're not doing an excellent job with Memorials! Keep up your good work!!
