heaven can wait
I also live near Ramstein and France and I am interested in the biographies of the " heaven can wait"- crew.
Their plane crashed near my village in 1944.
Thank you!

Lorraine American
Hello Marshall and Mary,
I'm volunteering for Russ Pickett's work on documenting all WWII casualties' graves from Maryland. I have a list of graves for 76 Maryland casualties that are buried at Lorraine American that we would very much like monument photos for. I have them all sorted by section/row/grave. If you are interested or are agreeable to help, could you please email me at
and I could email you the list. I was there this past June fulfilling many photo requests for there, but I wasn't aware of Russ's work at the time.
{I know this isn't the best season for doing it--but maybe later?)
Thanks so much for your attention,

Hi, Thank you so much for posting the photo for this cousin, Memorial# 56656578. I found it wonderful that his family & mine share your last name, McIntyre. We are descendants of Felix McIntyre born 1793 in South Carolina, USA. Perhaps we are somehow related to you :) All the best, Cindy Keith/Griffin/McIntyre
