Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a geneaology buff, and cemetery buff. My main family lines are Blythe, Glover, McNew, Brakebill, Allen, Walden, Hunt, Eden & Adams.
My dad's side of the family was from Faulkner County, Arkansas, and Mom's side from Yell County, Arkansas. I currently live in Reynolds County, Missouri. I think this site is of great importance in saving history and family records. I appreciate all the hard work and time that the people who work with this site have done.

Adam Mead
Someone has given you some confused information. Please let me help you straighten it out. Adam Mead had no middle name but did have a son Adam Monroe Mead (1853-1941) the last of ten children. The girl you have as his daughter was actually his Grand-daughter by his son Henry Clay Mead (1844-1912).The grand-daughter by Henry was my Grandmother. I have the names of all their children if you'd like them.
Adam Mead signed his official documents just Adam Mead.I have a copy of his land purchase document of April 15,1857. Let me know if I can help out any further. I just didn't want the name shown as the son marrying his mother. LOL

RE: Sallie Ann Hicks Mackie
I think you are right and I did not look hard enough at the dates. It should stay the way you have it. Thanks Floydene

Sallie Ann Hicks Mackie
Sallie Ann Hicks Mackie memorial #139260615 buried in Brearley Cemetery, Yell Co., Arkansas.
Her mother is Amanda Elizabeth "Mandy" Foster Hicks. Sallie's obit lists one of the survivors as her "mother, Mrs. Mandy Hicks..." Sallie's father is listed correctly on her memorial.
Would you correct the mother's name. Thank You.
Floydene Gillihan.

Jennie Reeves Key
Are you related to Jennie Key or know more about her background? I am thinking she could be Bass Reeves first wife in Fort Smith, AR.
