|I try to take pictures of older markers while I am visiting graves of my ancestors. I am not related to most of the individuals, just trying to keep them remembered and help other families searching for clues. If the memorials are of your ancestors, I would be happy to transfer the memorials to you - as long as they are not my ancestors,too! :)|

If you want to transfer Diane's site to me that will be fine. The cemetery is Brookline.

Thank you for the family links - no need to transfer. Let me do a bit more research; if there is more to share, I will send another edit suggestion. Thanks so much!

|WaggonerTribe||Tanner Family - Bowen Cemetery|
Hi again - I've identified the other Tanner family members you have listed at Bowen Cemetery, that I could add additional information (birth/death/military info) to. If you'd rather transfer them to me, I'd be more than happy to manage their updates to merge them with John Tanner.
92258563 - Elias Tanner (with the Civil War marker, who is the son of John Tanner), born 16 Mar 1839; died 1 Mar 1877. Served as a Private in Co. B 10th West Virginia Infantry during the Civil War.
And Elias Tanner's children are:
92249476 Cora Tanner
92249134 Elias Tanner
92248803 Henry Franklin Tanner
92249308 William T. Tanner
Elias Tanner's wife, Elizabeth Schoonover Tanner Jones, could be in an unmarked grave at the family plot, but I haven't found proof of it yet since she remarried after Elias died.
Oh sure, that would be wonderful, thank you so much!
I was wondering if you could make some updates on my 4th great grandfather's page - "Jno Tanner" is John Tanner - Born 1802, Died Feb 7 1876.
John served in the Civil War, Co B 15th West Virginia Infantry.
Married to Joanna Buckalew on Sept 4, 1828.
Married to Mary C. Kingsbury-Call on May 11, 1873. (Note: Mary later married Hiram Manley on April 25, 1878).
John Tanner is the son of Samuel and Sudna Elizabeth (Carpenter) Tanner.

|Mike S||Perkins family in Bowen cemetery|
Thanks so much for taking the time to photograph the gravestones of my Perkins relatives! It has helped me to confirm some identities and relationships. I've also never seen tombstones quite like these!
