Charles Columbus Montgomery
This memorial page:

contains an error. Charles Columbus Montgomery was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Eliza Williamson Montgomery. His mother was not Rebecca Pursley Montgomery. Benjamin F Montgomery married first to Eliza Williamson 15 August 1869 at Tyler, West Virginia.

The same physician and minister, William Strickling, also performed the marriage ceremony of Benjamin's brother, William James at the same locality on 16 March 1871 when William wed Mary Doak.

Benjamin Franklin Montgomery married for the second time to Rebecca Pursley 22 May 1872 at Botetourt, Virginia, nearly two years after the birth of Charles Columbus Montgomery.

Hi Denny
Sorry you missed it too. We had a lot of fun. Believe me, by the second day we were all graved out, had dinner and some of us went back to the hotel and took a nap before happy hour.

Maybe next time, Nan

Hope to see you there - Nan in St Clair County

Denny -- Sending this same msg to all the folks on the Ill. Roll Call. Hope you will be seriously thinking about joining us. You might touch base with some of the folks in the Chicago area to see about joining forces for the drive down.
