RE: Effie Ward obit
Thank you Marty!

I will keep an eye out for those obits that you requested. I am doing the late 1800's next so there is a good possibility that I will locate them. :)

Have a FABULOUS new year!

Alfred Bennett
Hi Marty! Thank you for looking for Cousin Alf's stone. Having the location of the grave proves he's there after wandering the West for 20 years. He provided crazy stories to the Ledger & Fulton Telegraph, Bret Harte style for many years & never married.

I'm writing to request the use of your headstone photos for John Omer 'Jack' Kincheloe Jr Find A Grave #91297005 and that of his wife Dorothy Rae "Dot" McCowan Kincheloe Find A Grave #91296805. Jack was a distant cousin and I"d like to add the photos to my ancestry tree.

Thank You,

Hord Family Memorials
Thank you for your offer to transfer your Hord memorials to me, however you have done such a great job of creating and upgrading these memorials I am not sure I see any advantage to my managing them. I only wish that others like you were as helpful in upgrading the memorials they created in a timely manner. Normally I have to wait for more than thirty days and then involve Find A Grave management to make enhancements because of members who are no longer active or are dead. The only advantage to my managing these memorials is to add bio information when it comes available. So I will leave the decision to transfer these memorials up to you, I will gladly take them.

Lewis Hord Sr
Lewis Hord Sr, father of Col Lewis Hord Jr and Major Edward Hord, died in Vicksburg, Warren County, Mississippi in 1837 just before Lewis Jr was born which leads me to believe that Lewis Jr and Edward were both born there.

Major Edward Livingston Hord
Major Hord had a brother, Colonel Lewis Hord Jr whose memorial you also created. Their parents were Lewis Hord Sr.(#137796409) and Elvira Stillwell Hord. You created her memorial as well. The very distinguished lineage of Lewis and Edward Hord is as follows:

Lewis Hord Sr (1810-1837)
Elias Hord (1773-1821)
Jesse Hord (1749-1814)
Thomas Hord, Gentleman (1701-1776)
John Hord I, Gentleman (1664-1749) Emigrated from England to Middlesex, VA in 1702.

Please refer to the edits I submitted for Lewis Jr and Edward Hord.
