PLEASE DO NOT COPY MY PHOTOGRAPHS AND POST THEM TO ANY OTHER SITES. THIS IS A VIOLATION OF MY COPYRIGHT!|
PLEASE DON'T TAKE MY PHOTO'S AND POST THEM ON ANOTHER SITE OR BOOKS THEY BELONG TO ME AND MY FAMILY AND IF I HAD WANTED THEM POSTED ON ANCESTRY COM OR ANY OTHER SITE I WOULD HAVE POSTED THEM MYSELF. THIS IS STEALING AND AGAINST THE LAW.
Born 1959. Married, 6 children. Love history, cemetery art and gardening. I have been doing genealogy for 30+ years.
I am a historian. I document an event for future generations. I am not a "hawk" or a "vulture". I do not get paid for this, I do not gain anything from this. I do not wish to disrupt your grieving process. I do not do this to disrespect anyone.
I believe that after 3 or 4 generations, everyone is basically forgotten. Our graves sit there deteriorating without a care. I especially feel for childless couples or infants and children, they are forgotten sooner. I love this website, because generation after generation, our future family will be able to come here, and see our graves, and with a little love and care can see our faces also. Tracing our lineage will be so much easier for future generations.
I will post obits on memorials with proper citation. I know some people feel that this info is "private" or "personal" but.... it was PUBLISHED IN THE PAPER FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE.
99% of the time this info is invaluable to genealogists. I have had cemeteries tell me they are private property and those interred there want privacy. If someone truly wants privacy, get cremated and scattered over the ocean, don't put up a huge headstone with your name, dates...... Like having a huge billboard up on a highway and you are asked not to look at it or read it........SILLY.
**Please, no drama. I report, ignore and block, rude or offensive communications.**
I also feel creating memorials for living people is disrespectful. Anyone can find names and dates to enter, but to truly do the job correctly, the names, obits, dates and links should be complete. If you add an obit, it should be as it was printed.
My paternal grandparents were Wavie (nee Rench) & Jesse Botkin. She was the first schoolteacher in Atlanta. Jesse ran the store in town. I have a 2006 copy of the cemetery records. I will try to get the transcribed into Find A Grave.
I do my best to post accurately and respectfully.
I LOVE FINDAGRAVE. I love making corrections. I want my memorials to be as complete as possible. Bring on the additional information. I am on here every day.
I am researching my genealogy, surnames: Botkin, Tonelli, Rench, Redenbo, Kuhn, Reeves, Crutchley, Boggs, Borror, Leach, Studebaker, Mumper, Jones, Houghtling, Terenzoni, Bartoli, Luchini, Ceci, Kieken, Gbur, Davia, Eggert, Horn, Inman, Redenbo, Winter, Spadaro, Davis, Hester, Curl, Shepperd, Maury, Sasser, Humfleet, Sprinkel, Allen, Clark, Brown, Gilbert, Read/Reed, Weber, Hauser, Davies, Dyerhin, Hainlein, Bomher, Fitzpatrick, Halper, O'Connor, Keevil, Cunningham, just to name a few.

Thank You for the catch.
I have removed him and his wife from wrong Cemetery.
Two Cemeteries are on the same road, just a few
miles apart. Often go between three Cemeteries on the same highway.

I have deleted the duplicate memorial. I apologize I must have missed it when I was working on that cemetery. Please add his nickname "Doc" to the memorial and link his wife Janice. Thank you.

I noticed it is recorded this couple is buried in the Walker Cemetery but they are not. They are in the Welch Cemetery.
Thanks for the link information for Harry's wife. I also did some checking and updated his memorial.

|Gravedigger||Michael John Haslett|
Again, thank you for putting Michael's obit up so fast however would it be possible to transfer it over to me for editing as there are a few additional items I wish to add as well as date of death is wrong. Michael's body was found by his father asleep peacefully in his bed on December 4th. He had probably died around December 1-2.
I would like to list his maternal and paternal grandparents because I will be adding family members at a later date.
Would like this to have been a private message but did not see a link for private messaging you.
|Jackie Edkins||Titman family|
Thank you for encouraging me to complete the work on my family, the Titman(s). When one gets busy they tend to forge where they left off and start in a new direction. A habit I need to continues to work on. Hopefully we are all settled now with the Titman family.
Happy New Year!
Thank you for finding the duplicate!! I have deleted it.

You are welcome. I am glad I was able to provide some useful information.
|Deborah Gowen||William Reen Pratt|
Received a reminder to add Williams parents and I thank you for that. But I had noticed that you have added a Mollie Pratt born and died 1922.William was my grandfather and my grandparents had a daughter Else (which I added born and died 1922) and my father William Raab Pratt. Could you remove the child Molly please. His mother was Amelia Auguste (Mollie) Pratt. Thank you very much
