I grew up in Portsmouth, RI listening to the stories of "the olden days" from my great grandparents and my great-aunts and uncles. I especially loved hearing how we were related to others in the town that I never would have guessed we had any connection to! Now that I live far away from RI, and my own children are grown, I have discovered the hobby of genealogy. Using the internet to bridge the miles, as well as genealogies done by my ancestors, I have quite a lot of Portsmouth family data that I would be glad to share. I grew up attending the Portsmouth Friends Church, as did seven or more generations of our family, so it is only fitting that my first Find a Grave submissions should be those.
