Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am searching Schaefer from Tipp City, OH Frank H Schaefer came from Ohio to Kentucky and met Helen Kincaid. He was the son of Frank R Schaefer, son of Johann Adam Schaefer. Adam and his wife Elizabeth came from Germany around 1950. I am also searching the Kincaid family from Lee County, Kentucky. Lycugus Kincaid married Maude Deaton...so therefore I am searching the Deaton family of Lee County, Kentucky. My mother married Ralph Thomas Martin, so that is leading me to the Martin's in Powell County, Kentucky, descendants of John L. (Luther) Martin. His mother Elva Johnson leads me to Hugh Johnson and Lucy Hall....and the list goes on!

Sorry I took so long! By all means use the photos that's the reason they are here.

John L. Martin
Hi Janie,

We both know that he's not buried in the Hieronymus Cemetery, and I know he's not buried in the Saint Helens Cemetery of which I'm the caretaker.

I'll do everything I can to help you find where he's buried in Lee County if he's buried here. But after looking at a lot of tombstones, mainly in the Hieronymus, Saint Helens, and Buck Creech Cemeteries, I haven't seen a stone with his name on it. The next time I go to the Buck Creech Cemetery, I'll try to look at all tombstones there, which I haven't done thus far.

I E-mailed a cousin tonight who is also related to the Lucases and Hobbs' that you refer to in your message. Maybe he'll come up with something.

RE: martin family in kentucky
Thanks again. I'm on facebook now but am about to be really busy while my husband has surgery and will have to have help from the librarians to use facebook. I'm really not good at this computer stuff but if that's what it takes... anyway, will get back to it asap.

martin family in kentucky
I found this family because I was trying to follow up on a marriage in Estill Co, KY involving William Martin & Elizabeth Hutson. I'm trying to figure out if 3 different Martin families in Missouri are connected - meanwhile I suspect that there is a connection between one of them (which is part of my Willis/Poteet/McCorkle family) and the Hutsons. Haven't gotten far at all with that idea & would love to hear from anyone who might be looking at the same people.

Thank you....
Hi Janie,
I don't know if you remember me, but I am Lindas daughter, Frances and Vernons granddaughter. I used to visit Aunt Nell with Granny sometimes.

I want to thank you for putting all this information on her. My Uncles Jack and Larry have both passed away. I'm going to look into getting the information on here.

If can ever help you with anything, let me know. I live in Dayton with my mother. I am disabled and have time to help so please ask if you need it.

With Love,
Melanie Berry Maddex
