I was born and raised in Kansas. I moved to NW Houston in 1986. I am a mom to two History teachers that I could not be more proud of.|
I find cemeteries comforting and peaceful. Therefore it is only fitting that I take pictures while I am in one. I want future generations to be able to easily find information on their relatives. The internet is a wonderful tool to use in this way.
I volunteer my time as a National Memorial Lady. We are a group of 30 ladies who honor our vets at every opportunity. I also am a Senior Ride Captain for the Patriot Guard Riders who escort our military safely to their final resting place on motorcycles. I have a special gratitude for our military men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice as well as all who served the USA proudly.
If you are requesting a transfer for a particular memorial, please let me know what relation that you are to the deceased. I will make consideration at that point. If you want to use any of my grave stone pics, feel free to....no need to ask.
America....Home of the Free because of the BRAVE.

I was wondering if I may use the photo in my Ancestry tree? I will be happy to give you a byline as the photographer.
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for the picture. My father, the deceased's husband who is 88 years old, had fallen the night before the burial and he and I had to stay home and not attend due to me taking him to have his collar bone xrayed. He did have a crack on it, but I am Betty's daughter also, and we missed the burial. Luckily, we got to attend her viewing the night before and we said our farewells. This meant so much to me to be able to see her marker, and my husband, who ALSO missed the burial, is taking me in the morning to see her grave for the first time.
Thank you again, and means so much to me and my family.
My name is Sherry
p.s. Tell me please how to volunteer in photographing these gravesites. I would love to do something like this to offer the service of pictures to loved ones, especially when they cannot attend for a final farewell..
Thank you so much for the photo of Roy Phillips' stone. He may be my grandfather's brother, but I will not request a transfer until I know for sure. Thanks again!

Thank you for taking the photo of their headstone. Pictures of headstones, greatly enhance their memorials.
Deeply appreciate you time and efforts for Find A Grave. You provide a wonderful service for family members that do not reside neat the burial location of their loved ones.
They were under water Karen
I was wondering if you could pass ownership of my cousin 129882014 to my account? thanks

Please delete my name off of this grave site since I am unable to keep my uncles' page. I will honor him in another way.
