I have been doing family research since the late 1970's. I have been associated with the Jefferson County (KS) Genealogical Society, being the organizing President and since served in that capacity two more times. I live in Winchester, Kansas. My wife, Marie and I have been married 61 years. We have four living children, 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. My family research interests are many, but especially Riley, Nettleton, Curry and Fulton. We have many ancestors buried in Atchison and Jefferson Counties, Kansas. In addition, I have served the United Methodist Church as organist for the past 50 years and have served the Winchester and Jefferson County North Schools as statistician for over 60 years. I was the Director of the Winchester Public Library at the time the present building was constructed. |

Vernon, I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and I'm sure you have much to be grateful for in your life. I am very, very, grateful for all the people who post these memorials for---FREE---and we don't have to subscribe to anything to get info on our relatives-----WITH OR WITHOUT DATES------I am tickled pink for this website and I am very grateful not to have to drive jillions of miles to an old cemetery and watch out for snakes in the grass as I hunt for unreadable tombstones. The people who take hours and hours of their own time to help us out in our search are wonderful, giving people. Thank you all. I for one appreciate you and all you contribute for those of us who sit on the couch and do nothing. Keep smiling, Vernon, and we can all count our blessings. We could be the ones under those rocks we see in the pictures.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE.!!! LOVE AND PEACE !! !
KATHY (ST. JOHN) MILLSAP
I am beginning to see a lot of memorials posted without dates. If you don't have dates you don‘t have a memorial you have a place holder so you can add dates later. I call those people vultures circling around waiting for someone to die. There are guidelines perhaps you need to review them.

Thank You Raymond for the dates and information.

I was just wondering if this was the same person who was on the Lady Hawkins when it sank. I sent you an e-mail as well, but thought I would mention it here too, in case the e-mail did not reach you. However, I also realize that it's possible that you are not related to Edward.
