Going forward, unless there is a compelling reason, I will only transfer listings of people someone knew closely, i.e. parent, child or close friend. I'm sorry, but someone who died 200 years ago could be related to thousands of people. I prefer you add one of my listings under your umbrella using the virtual cemetery feature at Find A Grave. If you have additional information, I will happily add it and list you as the contributor.
Also, please do not ask me add an obituary to a person's memorial. See Find A Grave policy below:
Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?
It is best to not copy obituary notices from newspapers to an individual's memorial record unless you have permission from the newspaper to do so. In general, obituaries in newspapers are submitted by the family. If the obituary is added to the memorial record, it should list the newspaper and date the obit was printed. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices from memorial records.
Obituaries for "famous" individuals are usually written by newspaper staff and can not be posted to Find A Grave.
Please do not include website addresses that may be listed in the obituary as they usually expire within a year after the obituary is printed.

|Carol & David||John Amey Transfer|
Thank you very much for John's transfer. I appreciate your kindness and all the work you have done on Find A Grave.

Find A Grave Memorial# 12092209. It says he was born in New Jersey. We thought it was Ireland. Does anyone have any documentation on his birth place?

Thank you for your quick reply. I guess it just isn't meant to be.
I hope that you enjoy your new home in PA.
Again thank you,
|Karen Witucki||Photo Request|
I would like to ask you if you could take a photo of my Mom's grave in Beth El Cemetery, Bergen, NJ. Her name is Pauline Mary Barnickle Sergey. I put in the request a couple of years ago through find a grave, but to no avail. I live in PA, but have not been well enough to go myself.
Any assistance that you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
|Bev||James Martin b. 1710|
We thought James Martin was born in Ireland not New Jersey. Do you have documentation of this? Hope New Jersey is right & we can find his parents.

|Kent Meyers||George Barnes Memorial# 7192061|
I accidentally submitted an edit to the birthdate for this George Barnes that belongs to the one who died in 1827 (I submitted the same edit for him).
George, who died in 1827 was born 1 Jan 1781 and chr. 25 June 1781 in the United Brethren (Moravian) church (the records are from the New York Genealogical and Biographical Record, vol. 38, January 1907, p. 44.). He married Sarah Holmes (Memorial# 7192224) 28 August 1803 in Saint Andrews Church
He was the son of George Barnes, who died in 1821 (Memorial# 7192133), and his wife, Dorothy (don't see a memorial for her), and brother of John Barnes (d. 1843) and Roger Barnes (d. 1815), if you want to link the family together. John was born 11 Oct 1768, chr. Apr. 1869 in Saint Andrews Church. He married Margaret Perine (Memorial# 7192059) 2 May 1793 in Saint Andrews Church. Roger married Sarah Lake 3 Jan 1798. She was born 16 March 1782, but I don't see a memorial for her.
