TEMPORARILY--If you ask for a SAC, please don't give up on me. I WILL get around to it. And if you don't hear from me in a timely manner, please send another SAC.|
I am getting quite a few messages for simple name, spouse, date changes. PLEASE, PLEASE use the "new" edit offerings on each memorial under the edit tab. Saves us both time, and eliminates mistakes. And, always check the little box that gives you a copy of what you sent as an edit. Thanks.
Please, please always check to see if there are memorials already entered BEFORE you enter a new memorial. FG and we here in Bosque County do not like duplicates, and nearly always ask that the earliest memorial stand. PLEASE do not post death certificates! If there is a good reason to state an unusual death, send a notice and I will post it.
I am a native Central Texan, presently living in Bosque County and a member of the Bosque County Historical Commission and BC Genealogical Society.
If you find a mistake, please let me know. I do not mind transferring if a memorial is a relative, but otherwise, I would prefer not to. However, I inherited many memorials from some retirees, and on other cemeteries, other than Bosque County, I would consider transfers.
I just recently finished two genealogies for Poston and Birdwell. FindaGrave information has been priceless! Thanks to all who have contributed. Now, I am currently researching several families: Streight/Straight, Tomchesson, Custer (almost finished!), Boulware, Barber, Frans.

|Tommy Neumann||Re: C. Eber Thomas|
I would like to inform you about two duplicate memorials in the Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, Hamilton County, Texas that were originally created on the same date by Trisha, and currently maintained by you.
C. Eber (Shorty) Thomas, Memorial # 19997593.
I note that on this memorial Shorty is listed as his middle name, along with Eber.
C. Eber Shorty Thomas, Memorial # 19997519.
I note that on this memorial, Shorty is correctly listed as C. Ebers nickname. Dates of birth and death are not included on this memorial.
While I have great grandparents and an uncle, who died in infancy, whose surnames are Thomas buried in Hamilton County, I do not believe C. Eber Thomas is directly, or indirectly, related to me. I was simply researching the Thomas family and came across the memorials for C. Eber Thomas while doing my research. I thought you might appreciate me letting you know of the these duplicate memorials.
Thank you for all you do for the Find A Grave website!

Thanks for the info! I will pass that along to my uncle. He still lives in Valley Mills and maybe can get that marker done.
|Nancy (Folmar) Reykdal||Myrtle (Burrow) McRae|
I created the memorial for Myrtle at Valley Mills cemetery, as that is where her TX death certificate shows she was buried on March 13, 1944. If you learn that she is actually buried somewhere else, please let me know!

Information has been added to memorial. I also found her mother's name as Coots. Thank you for looking for her grave.
|Randi Hagen||Hi Abby,|
I´m a norwegian, looking for information on my great grandfather´s brother, Neil Johnson Hagen (b. April 20th 1864-d 1960), who emigrated from Stange parish, Hedmark county in Norway in 1884. In the 1920 Census he (Neil Johnson b. est. 1865) is listed as a hired man at a farm in Justice Precinct 8, Bosque, Texas, United States. His birth name was Niels Johnsen Hagen and his parents were Johan Nielsen Hagen and Eline Andersdatter Hagen. I don´t think Neil had descendants. I found his grave at Find a grave as Nils Johnson (1864-1960) at Saint Olaf Cemetery in Cranfills Gap. I´ll appreciate any help to find out more about Neil, if there exists a photo of him etc. Thank you.
|Sarah Murdock||J.Anna Crosley|
The reason that I had not added her maiden name as Johnston is that her mother was married to a man named Andrew Langham before she married Joseph Johnston. Jack Anna used the name Johnston, even though she was born in 1850 and her mother did not marry Joseph Johnston until 1855. In some old pictures, found one labeled Aunt Fanny Pinckham who turned out to be her sister after researching her. I do believe her father was Langham, even though she did not use that name.

Thank you so much for taking those pictures. Good to get them photographed while you can still read them.
