Bio Photo The longer I am a member, the more I come across findagrave 'police' who are more interested in rules than genealogy help. I am here to help you find your heritage. If that means obits, stone pics, anything that tells you a clue or more about your ancestor, so be it. I don't have time for pettiness or bullies. Rude people or bullies will not get any help or transfers from me. There are even others who harass to get memorials, and then delete them... Please!! We have worked too hard to create them, let's help each other. This is genealogy, a family heritage thing, and you are not the police!! Get over it! Otherwise, I'll be glad to help you learn about your heritage if I can!

RE: Barnett pics
You're welcome. I looked for your Hermine Gehrenbeck Barnett, but the cemetery index does not have a record of her burial there, so no plot number. If she is with the other Gehrenbecks or Barnetts, there is no stone.
Take Care,

James Taylor married Nancy White
I am confused. Which James Taylor married Nancy White? I have seen records on both:

James Taylor, Jr. was born on April 12, 1770 in Mecklenburg, Virginia, and died on October 14, 1827 in Mecklenburg, Virginia. James, 31, and Nancy White, 19, were married on October 1, 1796, in Craven County.

James Taylor, Jr. was born on March 30, 1769, in Craven County, North Carolina, and died c. 1845 in Estillfork, Jackson County, Alabama. James, 31, and Nancy White, 19, were married on October 1, 1796, in Craven County.

Stairs II
Harlin Staires

Would you mind adding a bit to his obituary to say he was an avid genealogist who published two books on the Staires Family. I know he would like that. Thanks.

Thank you so much for providing the pictures of the David McCue and Martha McNeel headstone. These are my third great grandparents. Your efforts are appreciated.
