The longer I am a member, the more I come across findagrave 'police' who are more interested in rules than genealogy help. I am here to help you find your heritage. If that means obits, stone pics, anything that tells you a clue or more about your ancestor, so be it. THAT"S why I accept obits as a part of the burial record. There is far too much misinformation out there, and an obit does clear up alot of errors.

I don't have time for pettiness or bullies. Rude people or bullies will not get any help or transfers from me. There are even others who harass to get memorials, and then delete them... Please!! We have worked too hard to create them, let's help each other. This is genealogy, a family heritage thing, and you are not the police!! Get over it! Otherwise, I'll be glad to help you learn about your heritage if I can!

Taylor Line
Would you please tell me who you have for the Linage of John D. Taylor. I know some who have followed the Mose's Taylor line. I have DNA Records that lead me to believe beyond a shadow of doubt that the Blood Line is from John D. 1801 to James 1776 to Captain J. Taylor 1845 John, aka Jesse 1720 m. Lucy Burge etc. My email is FreedaCrumptonBrewer on Ancestry. Crumpton-Lindsey Families 5-23-13(1)(2). Looking forward to hearing from you, since I believe some may be following a wrong lead. God Bless. Freeda

Brandon Bridges

I see that you've added pictures to the Bridges and Bennett families. You mentioned that you created a book of the Bennett family with some photo's from Glada Bridges Hicks. I would really love to see this book. I am the GG Grandson of John Branson & Nora (Bennett) Bridges. I would love to assist in any research you are still doing on the families!! Please send me a message :)

Carlton McBrayer
Do you know of any proof that connects Carlton McBrayer to his father Samuel McBrayer. I've looked at everything I can think of but haven't found actual proof. Thank you so much. Nakita Moffitt

Parkers of Daviess County, MO
Hi there!

I noticed that you have attached some obituaries to some Parkers of Daviess County, Missouri. You attached one to my ancestor Daniel F. Parker.

Are you in any way related to the Parkers of Daviess County?

Also, how did you access those obituaries?

RE: Minerva Jane Thomas Goodvin
Lanita, would it be possible that you might know if the grave for Martha Thomas Robinson Find A Grave# 36633719 is Martha Evaline Thomas's grave one of the sisters of Minerva, Mary, Matilda, and Barbara Thomas. Martha is the only sister that I do not have a picture of her or her husband. I do believe she married a Quintus Jerome Robinson. I am so new at research the research I have done is at my local library in the genealogy department, and I know I have not even touched the surface as of yet. Thank you for any help in this area that you are able to help me with pertaining to Martha Evaline Thomas Robinson. It is so greatly appreciated.

Picture of Minerva Jane Thomas Goodvin
Lanita, I just wanted to say thank you for posting a picture of Minerva on her memorial page. Mary Angeline Thomas Troxel was my Great great grandmother, and one of Minerva's sisters. It was nice to see what her sister looked like since I did not have any pictures of her sisters. I am new to find a grave, but I really appreciate finding someone who cares about genealogy, and shares the knowledge with others to help them in their family searches.

Thanks for all you do for the find a grave website.
