Elizabeth's Bellefontaine Memorial, you mentioned there was one in an edit? Can you point me in that direction, I hadn't come across one. I'm about to bounce out of my chair with excitement. I was curious if the John Allington at Bellefontaine was mine.
And thank you so much for adding the other info!

I was wondering if the FS Carpenter in Bellefontaine Cemetery is an unmarked grave in the photo you show or if there is a gravestone. Thanks for having put the grave and plot numbers - very helpful in seeing who might be related to him.

Thank you so much for looking into this.
She and her sister were both young women who were some of the first grads of the Central High School Normal teaching program. They emigrated from Wolverhampton, England, with their young widowed mother, Johanna O'Connor Farmer and their brother Joseph Bryant Farmer.
Jennie died of consumption in 1865 and the funeral was held in her sister's home on Eugenia Street. At the time she was living with her sister Mary Jane and her husband August H. Blanke.
I am so glad to know where this is. She is buried near her niece, Jennie Adele Farmer, who died as a little girl in 1869 of a sudden serious illness--the newspaper does not say what it was. Once again, the service was at the Blankes home. What sad years for the family.
Thank you for braving the rainy weather to get this photo. It popped up on Ancestry this morning. I will have to look into installing a stone there for her--seems terrible for her to be in an unmarked grave...
Thanks for being my family angel in St. Louis. I hope to meet you some day. I am planning to get back there!
My mother was raised in St.Louis, she studied nursing at St. Louis U, and she and my father met there. St. Louis is dear to my heart.

It looks so much better--thank you!!
It looked VERY sad before.
Is there a chance you could see if there is a small stone for Jane (Jennie) Kirby Farmer in the Blanke plot? She died March 20, 1865 at age 25 as a teacher in St. Louis and the funeral was held at her sister and her husband's house on Eugenia Street: August and Mary Jane Farmer Blanke and that she was buried at Bellefontaine on March 22, 1865. But, when I look up her name she is not listed.
I CAN find the Blanke family grave site online, and I see several SMALLER stones in the photo there but I cannot see the names on them clearly.
I thought she would be in her sister's family plot.
There is a slim chance she is in the Vogel-Farmer plot, which belonged to her brother Joseph Bryant Farmer.
However, it is confusing because there is a Jenny Louise Farmer, Joseph's daughter) buried there who died in 1907, who was the niece of Jane (Jennie) Kirby Farmer, and was named for her aunt who died.
Both the original Jennie Farmer's brother Joseph Bryant Farmer and her sister Mary Jane Farmer Blanke named a child Jennie after their sister, and each one died young. Jenny Louise Farmer at 33 suddenly of a hear condition and Jennie Adele Blanke as a child of consumption within a few days. All three Jennie's died young.
I would love to know for sure where Jane (Jennie)Kirby Farmer's stone is or if she even has one.

Thank you Randal for figuring out that there isn't a stone marking Arthur's burial location. Your efforts are much appreciated:)

Interestingly there was a reburial for John Webber within Bellefontaine. It was a year after the first burial. Their date of death is a couple days different than what you sent, but going with the death index info you provided. Glad you took the photos and sent the edit. Good to have the details correct. Thanks for all your help. Much appreciated. Regards, Phyllis

Thank you Randal. I'll add your sources to his bio. I'll also check with the cemetery. Thanks again. Phyllis

Hi - thank you for the photos and edits for the Webbers. I have a question about John Webber. Did you send an edit based on the year of death shown on his headstone, or do you have other information? The cemetery burial index shows a different year for the burial. Wonder if there was a reburial or possibly a headstone or cemetery record error. It would great if you have further info. Thanks again. Good to have all info possible. Kind Regards, Phyllis

I am glad you are a neighbor!
My grnadmother is Viola Scruggs Farmer married to Prcy J Farmer, MD, son of Joseph Bryant Farmer and Katherine Vogel Farmer. Katherine's parents are there too: they are John and Eva Margaret. Their children were John N. Jr, Mary Louise, Eva Elizabeth, and I have to look up the other daughter's name.
How do I attach a photo to an email???.
