Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in NW Alabama and teach high school Spanish. I work on my husband's family history (and mine) in my spare time. I am happy to help anyone with genealogy searches in local libraries and courthouses, as well as cemeteries. I am searching for info on the following families: Holmes, Allen, Hunt, Carter, Burgoyne, Dickinson, Wiginton and Winsett.

James A Dill and Nettie E Gann
Thank you so very much for the photos you took. Nettie Gann is my mother-in-law's aunt and James A Dill is her uncle. She has never seen the tombstone for Nettie Gann. Nettie didn't have a tombstone for a long time. Finally, my mother-in-law, her mom, and a couple other family members purchased the tombstone for Nettie. My mother-in-law has never seen it. She will be so happy to see this photo.

Thank you!
Thank you for posting the pictures of William Tandy Duncan's grave. He is my Dad but I don't live in Alabama anymore and don't have the ability to visit. He died when I was 11 and unfortunately I haven't been back to AL in almost 10 years, and hadn't been back since he died. I couldn't remember what the headstone looked like, so thank you. This was quite the pleasant surprise.
