I live in NW Alabama and teach high school Spanish. I work on my husband's family history (and mine) in my spare time. I am happy to help anyone with genealogy searches in local libraries and courthouses, as well as cemeteries. I am searching for info on the following families: Holmes, Allen, Hunt, Carter, Burgoyne, Dickinson, Wiginton and Winsett.|

Thank you for the lovely photo of Zachariah Burleson headstone.

Thank you so very much for the photos you took. Nettie Gann is my mother-in-law's aunt and James A Dill is her uncle. She has never seen the tombstone for Nettie Gann. Nettie didn't have a tombstone for a long time. Finally, my mother-in-law, her mom, and a couple other family members purchased the tombstone for Nettie. My mother-in-law has never seen it. She will be so happy to see this photo.
Thank you for the wonderful photo. I really appreciate your thoughtfulness.

|Lindsey Duncan||Thank you!|
Thank you for posting the pictures of William Tandy Duncan's grave. He is my Dad but I don't live in Alabama anymore and don't have the ability to visit. He died when I was 11 and unfortunately I haven't been back to AL in almost 10 years, and hadn't been back since he died. I couldn't remember what the headstone looked like, so thank you. This was quite the pleasant surprise.

Transferring per your request.. Photos' need to be adjusted and I changed the middle name (Susan-to-Suson) to match the Headstone.

Hi Monica, Francis was my great grandfather. How are you related? My grandfather was William Henry Hunt from Albertville, AL.
