I started my family search in about 2003 and registered with Find A Grave in March 2006. I started with 45 names and now have 9197 in my Family Tree Maker file. I live in the West Central part of Texas and am retired. My ancestors are first found in the USA in North Carolina & Virginia in the 1700's and came from the Britsh Isles. My Ferguson side moved from Jones Co., Mississippi to Hill Co., Texas in the 1870's and the Haynes' moved from Breckinridge Co., Kentucky to Williamson Co., Texas in 1885. I have traveled over West, Central & East Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky in search of graves & records. My lineage also includes the Land, Perrin, P'Pool and Outhouse clans. I enjoy the hunt and providing records and pictures to other researchers.|

I notice that you have posted Elma to Bethel Cemetery, Funston, Jones County, Texas.
You have her parents as Gilbert H. Hyatt and Sarah Jane Weaver Hyatt with Mamie Elizabeth Hyatt Foster as her sibling.
I believe that this is incorrect. As I believe that her father and mother are George William Hyatt and O.D. Warren Hyatt who are buried in Lamesa Memorial Park Cemetery, Lamesa, Dawson County, Texas.

Appreciate your looking for her. The stone is broken where the name is, makes it difficult to read. I've tried to enhance the photo, change the colors, etc, to be able to read it better. Her name is Susan E., that much is visible. She was the d/o, or w/o G.E. _? The G.E. is visible, but again not the last name. The cemetery is full of names starting with "Mc_". It also has numerous Hudson names. I could not connect her to either.
There are quite a few "lost souls" in this cemetery. There is a Black section to it that is completely overgrown and I cannot get back into it. A few of the names are listed but I have a feeling there are many other that have been forgotten about.

|Cindy Dawson||William Henry O'Donley|
I am William Henry O'Donley's granddaughter, daughter of Nita Sue O'Donley Gilbert. I have been researching the O'Donley family and cannot find anything on my great-grandmother, Viola Mason. You indicate that she was born in 1879 in KY. I would love to have any information on her that you can provide. My daughter, May Mills Dawson Reid, just named her first born after Bill and my father, Bruce - William Bruce Reid. Thank you so much!
