Subject of names board at Dryland Cemetery
Hello, I had no idea what the situation was with all those historic burials being moved as it were! Unfortunately, I have several Knecht and Brader families are direct lines in my research. Is it possible to have someone photograph in detail both boards and put them up on the Dryland Cemetery site? This would be so helpful. Some one did it for part of the board but I really need it all and with all the pictures up on that page it would help a lot. please let me now if this is possible.

Thank you for your time.

RE: Dryland
Yes, I read also the information on the churchyard itself. I am sorry but is it just me that I am horrified that they removed the stones. Who had that right? I would think that would be a legal issue with the families. So no one knows where their loved one is exactly buried. Is this correct? Diane

Jacob Abel
Hi,

I have not seen a photo of Jacob's tombstone, but you can request one, by " the Request A Photo" button on his memorial. Or I can do it.

I am related to his wife Maria Sophia (Raub) Abel.
I have been able to determine if she is buried with him . She died in 1748. They were married in 1742. He didn't died until 1807. Which leaves a lot of years.

Do you know if he was married twice? Or any other information about him?
