Bio Photo If God came to me 20 years ago and said 'I'm going to give you a wonderful son that will give you tremendous joy and pride but after 20 years I'm going to take him away. Do you still want the son?' then I'd have taken it without hesitation

Hi there, hope you are well.
I have two memorials for the same person, 47593346,
47834846. Of the two, you have a very nice photo for 47593346. The other has a photo also by other but I'd like you to move your photo over so I can delete 47593346. My other memorial, 47593346, has family links. Notify me whatever you decide.
Happy thanksgiving,

Find A Grave Memorial# 45319199
Hello, I saw on John Bordner's page you had sponsored it so more photos can me posted. I find I am a descendant of this man and am attempting to gather documents to submit for DAR membership. So far they are telling me they can find NO entry for him in the DAR records showing him as a patriot. The Johannes Bordner they have listed has different dates of birth, death and a different wife. Are you related, or do you know anything in relation to this DAR plaque? Thanks in advance.

Hello Neil, I'm definitely running into conflicting records for Elizabeth. Elizabeth was baptized at Tulpehocken Trinity UCC, d/o Isaac & Cath, sponsors Valentine & Barbara Herchelroth. Married at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stouchsburg 19 May 1777 to Johannes Rieth. Both buried at Tulpehocken Trinity Elizabeth b. Apr. 2, 1755 d. Apr. 2, 1800 Johannes b. Apr. 12, 1752 d. May 2, 1818. Ive consulted a few fellow researchers and all agree on the baptism, marriage and burial records. Tulpehocken Settlement Historical Society, 1997), p. 10

Have you considered or come across these records/
Hi, hope you are well.
Interesting situation. Difficult to believe the newspaper could have made such a gross error. I think the marriage record(s) are the key here. Perhaps there were two with her name. Makes more sense she would be buried near Myerstown, don't you think? I'll do some checking.

RE: Anna Maria Stiely
I am so sorry or not including the marker number. It is:Find A Grave Memorial# 40332699. I need to be able to see the writing in the photo if at all possible. I can translate it, but to "prove" it, I have to be able to see it in the photo. I would be thrilled if you have additional photos on file. I am sure you posted the best one, but thanks so much for looking.
All the best, Holly Howard

RE: Reuben Schell
Yes I was confused on that too. His death certificate and obitiuary stated these differences. I was beginning to think that this is a different Reuben Schell. Or the person whom signed his death cirt. and gave the info for his obit did not know these details of his life. Will keep looking into this. Thank You!! Bonnie DeBlasse

Reuben Schell
Hello I was wondering if you could help me. I found an obituary for Rueben Schell and a death cert. And the obit has him being born in Germany and his death certificate had him and his parents being born in Ohio. This does not coincide with his siblings parents being born in Pa.?? Have you come across this in your research Thank You Very Much Bonnie DeBlasse
