Bio and Links
Bio Photo Feel free to use any photos that I have taken. If you want to note my name and give me credit, it is very much appreciated.

My current project is Woodland Cemetery in Las Vegas. Big thanks to Miracle Mile Tim for recommending this project. With in excess of 24,000 burial plots, Woodlawn may take 2-3 years to complete all memorials with obituaries and genealogical data. It appears that approximately 4,000 gravesites may be unidentified and have no markers.

Started photographing markers in the center part of Woodlawn and moved westward to Las Vegas Blvd. Working on the south side of the property and then doubling back to finish plots on the east side. Ron Minor photographed much of the far east side.

The initial photographing and entry of 99% of the memorials is complete. Only small parts of two sections need to be entered.

Beginning to work thru the 1,100 older memorials entered that have no memorial photos. Many if not most of these may be difficult to locate and could possibly be burials not at Woodlawn.

Parents added for Nelson Conway
Hi, Nelson Conway is my uncle and I recently started putting family on Find A Grave. I see that he is already on Find A Grave and I thank you for all the work you do for Find A Grave. I submitted parents for Nelson (my grandparents) and hope you will add them. This will help me connect my mother, Sue Ellen Conway Heinemann, to her brother.
Much thanks, Janet Jennings (#48410428)

RE: Transfer request
Sorry Jeff, no memorial # because these two have not been done yet. Maybe I am using 'transfer request' incorrectly. I would like to request that a Find-A-Grave memorial be established for these two relatives. Can you help with that?

Robert "Bob" William Bernacchi
Hello, I noticed there are 2 memorials for Robert William Bernacchi. On the newer one, you added a photo for the plot. Would you please add that photo that you posted on Find A Grave Memorial# 96752377 to Find A Grave Memorial# 7616155? I just emailed the creator of the 2nd memorial and asked him to delete it. Thanks very much. Sam

Edward Swetland #84324790
Hi Jeff, Looks like you have been a busy Man! Great Job! I wonder what your thoughts may be on this one. If you look at Carrie McElheney Kingsbury's (memorial #63959845), her obit shows her survived by a son, Edward Swetland. Could this Edward Swetland be him? Thanks for all you do! Mark Weitzel

Help & Advise
Hello Jeff,
Since you are working in the Woodland Cem., I'm wondering if you would have any knowledge of someone that is buried there. I was at his funeral, and for the life of me I can't remember which one it was. I think it was the Cem on what we used to call 5th street,(now L.V.Blvd, NO) is that Woodland ? just at the top of the hill by the Dairy.

His name was Leo Wolf B: 1905 in IL, D: 3-1977.

Any help or advise will be appreciated, I hope it is OK that I have written you, if not, Please Excuse me.

Thank you Jeff, for making the family link to his parents. It is a comfort to know his Mother is once again with her child. And Thank you for the great job you are doing in Woodland.
