| Bio and Links | I am very appreciative of the folks who created and maintain Find-A-Grave. Initially, I was a little skeptical about submitting data to the memorials, however, through the years, I have become a huge fan. I want the data we are submitting to be freely available for genealogical research for years to come. The community of contributors I have communicated with has been cordial and helpful in almost every instance.
If you find any errors or question any information I am posting, please do not hesitate to bring it to my attention. We are all imperfect, however, I believe it is crucial the data we post is correct and includes sources whenever possible. Your assistance will be appreciated!
Because of my parents enthusiasm for local history and genealogy, I began helping them research our family tree. Even before I knew I loved genealogy, I was involved in it each weekend as we visited elderly relatives and stretched our young legs in cemeteries throughout Ohio. My father was one of the early presidents of the Pickaway County (Ohio) Historical Society in the 1970s and both of my parents were instrumental in getting the society's genealogical library up and running. My mother was Registrar of the Pickaway Plains DAR Chapter for many years. What a tremendous gift it was to share the search for our ancestors with them! I am forever grateful to them and my grandparents for preserving our family's history. Almost all of the photos I post are scans of properly identified photos that belonged to them. | |

 | George Smith Thank you so much for taking the time to send me information on George Smith & his family - it was so kind of you. I am not related to George... just helped out a friend by posting this cemetery on Find a Grave for others to view. I hope you find the information you seek on Phillip. Again, thank you for your kindness. | | | Susan Pescosolido Richardson
 | Henry Crider Rachel, I was out to the cemetery today looking for the grave stone and was unsuccessful. I had first went into the church office to ask and was told the general place where the records show he was buried. I took a photo of their map. I will send it to you by email. The grave is in the older area of the cemetery and there are stones that are totally unreadable or missing. I am so sorry. The cemetery is well maintained otherwise. | | | Trudy

 | Catherine Pierce Did you want me to post that information to her memorial? I posted her memorial and all the other Pierce's I found at that cemetery. I was researching my husband's GGGGrandmother's family who were Pierce's. Her name was Julia Pierce and she married Frank Markins and they lived in Vinton County. I have not fully linked them or found her family for sure and it has been awhile since I last worked on it. I believe her father is buried there in that cemetery and her mother with her in Oak Grove cemetery.Added by SC22 on May 13, 2013 4:47 PM | | | Chelie

I transferred Mazie to you. I hope you can merge all of the information together.
Her husband, Samuel T Bowsher is my 2nd cousin, 3 times removed, sounds pretty distant. If you want him too, I can transfer ?
