My particular areas of interest are Berks, Montgomery, Schuylkill, Chester, Montour and Lehigh Counties in Pennsylvania.|
Memorials are not bulletin boards. Please do not attach gaudy clip images as a photo. If you feel this information is vital send as a suggestion in digital format to add to the bio section.
Surnames suggested as middle names will not be added without some official record such as a obituary/death/burial/birth record/tombstone or individual's signature.
My thanks and devotion to you who are courteous, polite and appreciative. Those who are rude, demanding and condescending should create their own ancestor memorials.
My Patriots of the Revolution include:
George Herbst 1712, George Dry 1725, Johannes Koch 1725, Daniel Guldin 1735, Johann Christian Scheidt 1736, Michael DeLong 1739, Bernhard Eitel 1745, Michael Krebs 1744, Henrich Knauss 1746, John De Turck 1747, Marmaduke Von Buskirk 1750, John Grant 1754, Sebastian Koch 1757. My Loyalist who fought for the British is Christian Flicker.
Generally, transfers of memorials unrelated to my family or friends will only be made for your direct ancestors, therefore excluding, cousin, aunts, uncles, etc.

Hello, Thank you for the transfer of management of the memorials Peter and Christiana Lesher Hoffman. Mountaineer
|Diane Gravlee||RE: Hannah Hechler|
I would be happy to remove and then transcribe the will and send the text to you to add to her memorial and I will also check to see if I added it to any other memorials as well. Did you get my Sept. email about Rebecca East?? She was the first wife of Philip East (the 2nd wife being Amelia Ritter). Rebecca lived 1838-1865 and you created her memorial in Charles Evans. Does she have a grave marker and if so, would you please take a photo of it?
Hope you are getting over the Lyme Disease problems. Happy Thanksgiving.
|Fred Fonseca||Peter Fetterolf|
I have adopted the Fetterolf/ Bittenbender Graveyard in Siezholtsville, Hereford Twp, Berks County Pa. where the pioneer of the Fetterolf family in America Peter Fetterolf and Bittenbender descendants are buried. I am spearheading fund raising for the Berks County Association for Graveyard Preservation for the rebuilding of the walls of the graveyard estimated to cost around $50,000. I started it with my $1,000 donation. I am trying to spread the word to Peter and his wife Anna Margaretha Rothermel descendents to go to "bcagp.org" and click newsletters Oct. 2015 to see the clean up we did. There is a membership/donate page.

You took the picture, but I am told the tombstone is in Saint Peters Pikeland UCC Cemetery. Is that correct ?
There seems to be some confusion about cemeteries in the area.

Regarding Find A Grave Memorial# 68977516, The image shows that Jonathan was born in December, not in March as transcribed.

Neil - if she is not the spouse of Cornelius, I will remove the photos of their stones together. I am a bit confused b/c they are listed on Samuel Fosbenner's memorial (#72188982) as his parents.
Thoughts? Thanks for the input. Faith
Jonathan McMichael and wife Sarah are buried in the Mount Hope Methodist cemetery in East Drumore Twp.
|Rich Stackhouse||Emma 'Emily" Rittenhouse Trowbridge|
Thanks for the correction. It was the 1909 in the paper date that showed incorrect.
I am sure that when I was taking photos of Trowbridge headstones that I had taken a photo of theirs, but now I have no idea where I might have placed it. Whenever I get to Danville, I am going to have to check again.

She is my wife's gr. grandmother. I have the family Bible that lists her death as 1910 and the Death Certificate also has her death as 6 Nov 1910 yet you are showing me an obituary for Emma with a newspaper date of 1909. Can you explain?
