I have been actively involved in genealogy for 30 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. |
In addition to my own family, I've added memorials for people that I am not related to. These are most likely in Kentucky and Indiana. If one of these memorials is for your family member and you would like a transfer, please be sure to state your family relationship when requesting the transfer.
I'm always happy to make any corrections or additions to memorials. Please click on the Edit tab on the memorial when making a request.

|Bonnie Miller||Rev John Harvey Deere - duplicate memorials|
I've just found 3 memorials for John Harvey Deere.
#42704581 - created Oct 4, 2009 maintained by Sue P
#79170450 - created Oct 23, 2011 maintained by Sue P
#85377754 - created Feb 22, 2012 maintained by Tropico Gravers
All 3 show he died in California, but the first two are in Indiana and the third specifies a burial plot in California. All 3 have headstones (first 2 are the same one). Hoping you can combine all the good info/relationship links and the correct burial location. I found these while researching a photo of him, which I'll post at the correct memorial after I sell it.

The Wolters family enters my family tree with my GG-Grandfather's sister's daughter marrying
Herman Friederick Peter Wolters (1881-1926). So, fairly distant. Thanks, Bob.

Thanks for your efforts in taking pictures at this cemetery! May I use your pictures in my Ancestry.com family tree? Bob

My husband is descended from the Collins family. It was a Collins sister who married into the Hillabold family, so I believe my husband follows a different line.

Glad you asked. Martin Hillabold's sister, Christina Hillabold, was my 3rd great grandmother. I was researching some ancillary family lines when I found a death notice for Martin in the Goshen Daily News, from Saturday, April 29, 1899:
--Martin Hillabold, formerly of Syracuse, died a few days ago at the home of his son in Kansas.
Also, the McPherson public library has a listing in their obituary index for him, which is where I got the exact date:
I've thought about purchasing a copy of the full obituary, as per the instructions at the bottom of the link, but I probably won't get around to it for a while. If you choose to do so yourself, I would love to see it.
Hope some of this has proven helpful.
