|Bio and Links|
I have been documenting graves in Montgomery since 2008. Not all of us can travel to far away places so we must depend on volunteers to help us fill in those missing parts of our family tree. |
When sending information to be added, please take the time to extract that information into a biography, no matter how short. Census records should not be taken as the gospel. If there is a discrepancy I will note it on the memorial.
Transfer requests will be granted within the four generation guidelines so long as I am not myself related. Please use the editing links at the top of each memorial for multiple transfer requests.
Emails requesting such where I have to cut, paste and search for memorials to transfer will not get done.
NO transfers of any Meriwether memorials will be made to "The Meriwether Society". Documented proof of relationship will be required before I transfer any Meriwether's and any of their various spellings.
My photographs are for your personal family files, please do not download/upload them elsewhere on the web. If it was not taken by you personally it does not belong to you and thereby constitutes theft. Sadly, many people believe that if it is on the internet is fair game.
Be patient, edits will be handled as soon as possible, recent health issues have forced me cut back the amount of time I spend on this website. Do not assume I am responsible for erroneous information because sometimes it happens.
Last but not least, any email or correction that is construed as rude, threatening, demeaning or derogatory in context will be sent straight to administrators. We are all here for a singular purpose; to record graves. I refuse to be treated with contempt by others on a website that depends on on volunteers working together to foster a spirit of goodwill, and cooperation. Rude or demeaning emails certainly do not incite me to help anyone who acts like that.
