Hi Alice, I'm sorry, Royal BC Archives only publishes death certificates up to 1993 so without a headstone photo there is little more that I can tell you. His name originated from the Victoria genealogy society death listings. I haven't had any luck finding an obit for him either.

|Sharron Cohen||Aden Whynot|
Thanks for the information on Aden Whynot. I added it to his memorial page, with a credit to you. (If you don't want that, let me know and I will remove the attribution.) Is he a relative? Would you like me to transfer his memorial to you? Sharron
Thank you for taking the photo of William Clancey and his wife. This helps piece together the family tree. I appreciate your help!
Thanks to you posting an inquiry to Patricia Cousens regarding the correct burial location of Thomas K(night) Brehaut & his wife Elizabeth, I was finally able to locate my incorrect posting and removed it. Without your notation of the "Alexandra Baptist Church Cemetery", I may not have found it. I had searched findagrave.com under Brehaut name and Alexandra, PEI without success.
Thank you again for helping to keep the data correct.
ALIB, my husband and I just visited the Pownal United Methodist Church Cemetery and Thomas Knight Brehaut and his wife Elizabeth Ellen Judson Brehaut are buried there. We also went to the Alexandra Baptist Church Cemetery and they are not buried there. These cemeteries are on the same road. I sent a message to bluesma36 asking her to delete them from the Alexandra cemetery.
|Patricia Cousens||RE: BREHAUT FAMILY|
Hi, I sent a message to bluesma36 asking if she had the Brehaut's in the right cemetery. Waiting for a reply. I have copies of the newspaper clippings for the obituaries for Thomas K. and Elizabeth Ellen Judson Brehaut which states they are buried in the Pownal Cemetery, which is just down the road from the Alexandra Baptist Cemetery. I also have a Cemetery Transcript of Community/Methodis-United Church Cemetery Pownal, which I send for and it lists both Thomas and Elizabeth as being buried in the Pownal Cemetery. The Thomas Knight Brehaut buried in PEI is the son of Richard Brehaut and Susanna Wood, they had seven children.
1. Mary Ann married Daniel MacLennan
2. Theophilus married Elizabeth Cousens, who is my husband's grand Aunt.
3. Thomas married Elizabeth Judson
4. John married Margaret Duncan
5. Richard Franklin married Jennie Graves (they had no children)
6. William married Laura Wood
7. Henry married Susan Jardine
This info was taken from a book we got when we were in PEI. The name of the book is A Second History of Alexandra Two Hundred Years. It was compiled by the Alexandra History Committee for the Bi-Centenary Celebrations of the community 1792-1992. My husband attend school in the fifth grade in PEI. The school is on the same road as the Alexandra and Pownal Cemeteries. We stopped to take pictures of the school and a kind gentlemen who lived next door came out to talk to us and took us inside the school and he gave us a copy of the book. If you need help with anything else, just let me know. I will let you know when I hear from bluesma36 or if we go to PEI to check it out, which ever comes first. Regards, Patty
