Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.
I am currently working on Calumet County, trying to get all cemeteries transcribed.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.

Am currently working on Calumet County, transcribing cemeteries and putting them here.

If I have any pictures of your family members, you are welcome to use them.

I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.

If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

Andreas Ramminger info
Hello Rose. My great-great grandfather was Andreas Ramminger. He's buried in St Anna Catholic Cemetery in Calumet County, WI.

You posted information regarding is first wife, I was wondering where you got the information. There's a photo of his headstone on the memorial, but below the Birth and Death info is this sentence:
"His first wife was Gertrude Reader. She died in 1854"

Thanks--G Wolcott

John & Moddy Mann

I am a descendant of John Mann and Judge Moddy Mann of Calumet County. I have some additional information to add about John Mann about his Civil War Service, as he re-enlisted in a 2nd regiment and has an additional tombstone at the Kings Home Veterans Cemetery near Waupaca, where we belive he is actually buried not withstanding the tombstone at Lakeside Cemetery with his wife.

I also be interested in finding out where you found the picture of John Mann and the origins of Judge Moody Mann? As our oral tradition has it that he was in New York State for some time after coming from England and prior to coming to Wisconsin.

My Grandmother, Marjorie Johnson Porath was John's Granddaughter and is from another daughter not listed.

Thank you,

Tom Kontos

Thanks for the obituary for Anton. Now I'm even more confused. :)

Gertrude Sevenich
Hi Rose,
Do you happen to know if the maiden name of Gertrude Sevenich whose memorial #129822396 you created is Guelig? Gertrude was the daughter of Mathias Guelig and Margaret Andrew. Gertrude is shown on the same headstone as Anton, Joseph, and Anna. I think Gertrude is married to Anton and I'm guessing that Joseph and Anna might be Anton's parents.

St Gregory Church Records
Have your transferred the burial records from St Gregory Church that previously were published online on Manitowoc County Genealogy website? I cannot locate previous research there. Your information seems to replicate what had been on those records. Please inform.

Also, can you confirm the authenticity of the Joseph and Anna Trotschmitt Knier photo on your record. The confirmed family photo I have of Joseph Knier does not look anything like the only you post.

RE: Mary Finnegan Brennan
Thanks for the reply! I don't know what the Art Neumeyer photos are -- is there a collection someplace that I can look thru? Thanks so much for your help.
