I have been into family history since 1973. I transcribed all cemeteries in town Schleswig, Manitowoc County, WI in 1974.|
I am currently working on Calumet County, trying to get all cemeteries transcribed.
If you have corrections or additions to anything I have on please let me know.
Thanks to anyone adding people pictures. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone had a picture.
It is nice to have photos of the cemetery stones, but please don't put in any more than two. I come along with people pictures and can not put them in because the limit has been reached.
I do not take credit for many of the pictures I post here, they are given to me by fellow researchers who want them shared with family members.
If I have any pictures of your family members, you are welcome to use them.
Hint: click on the picture you want, and that will bring up a larger file, and then save it.
I've added a new virtual cemetery -- Cemetery X. In my research I am finding obits for people who have some connections in Calumet County, but I don't know where they are buried.
If you have cemetery stones that need cleaning or repair work on old cemetery stones, Shane Peik, has a Chilton, Wisconsin based service.

Thanks Rose, I just found this comment you made. Agnes(Goeres)Krackenberger (1844-1912) was my 2nd Gt Grandmother. Her husband John Krackenbergr (1841-1922) died in Orting Wa. and is buried in Seattle WA. I'm also trying to find Elizabeth (Buchmann) Krackenberger (1815-1885) She was living on a 160 arce farm between Rhine and Plymouth on Willow Rd with her Husband Francois Krackenberger (1810-1860)in 1860, who was killed there in a farming accendent and is buried near by in the Liberty Cemetery. Elizabeth died in Holton, Marathon Co. but we have no idea if she is buried there or nearby??
Thanks for your help
John Krakenberg (Idaho)
Thank you Rose!

|praple||Anna Rapl Pischl|
Rose, I was thrilled to find the picture of Anna Rapl Pischl on the Find A Grave site. She would have been my great great aunt. Is there some way I might find out who provided this picture to see if they have any other family pictures from that generation? Thank you so much! Paula Raple Pond

|Mike Keyes||Name change for #75978995 and 8996|
Thank you for all the work that you do for findagrave. I just uploaded grave photos for #75978995 and #75978996 and found that family name is spelled incorrectly. The last name for both should be listed as Hennig rather than Henning. You are listed as the contact person for both memorials. Are the names something that you could change?
He was my 4th great grandfather. Could you transfer the memorial to me?
