In my youth, I often looked through the box of old family images and negatives that was stored far away in the closet. Who are these people and what do they mean to me? While at college, my Architectural studies allowed me the opportunity to work in the Photo Lab. This experience enabled me to take those negatives and make them real, and as such was my first opportunity to create a family album and to understand our family's history. The start of a life long effort!
The advent of the computer and the internet just made it all that much easier. Over the years I have enjoyed making connections with family in the name of family research. There is a lot of information available from various sources and it takes one family member to organize it and make it available to all!
As past president of Clan MacCallum/Malcolm Society of North America Inc and now their "Family History Coordinator" I truly value our rich heritage and I endeavor to assist others in their ancestry quest.
Cyril Marks grave stone thanks Neil for including the picture of my grand father's grave site. I notice that it is covered with some kind of moss or lichens of some kind. Do you know any way to clean that off. I live close enough to be able to come in and clean his marker if I knew how. If you have any knowledge of this let me know. thanks again - Randy Marks
