I don't live near any of my own relatives and very much appreciate the work that folks from those areas have done. I concentrate on the cemeteries near my home, adding information about spouses, maiden names, and parents whenever I find sources that appear to be valid. I'm sure there are times that I'm led astray by what looks valid, so please send an edit or contact me if you see something that doesn't look right!|
I'm glad to transfer records if you're a direct relative of someone whose memorial I created. Please see the FAG guidelines under "How do I get a Relative's Memorial Transferred to Me" on the "Help with Find A Grave" page.
Feel free to use the headstone photos that I've taken in any way that is respectful.
My profile picture is of Kari, one of my second great-grandmothers.

|Peggy Biven||Cemetery Records|
My name is Peggy RUTH Biven and I have a Paternal 3rd Gr.Grandfather buried in Mansfield Cemetery in Stringtown, Athens Co., Ohio. His name is Allen Mansfield; DOB 25 Jul 1827; DOD 30 Aug 1908. I would like to contact a person that would have burial records that might state that Allen's parents were Peter Mansfield & Susannah Seamans Mansfield for DAR membership. Does this cemetery have a Manager of Records that I could contact? I have a picture of his headstone. Just need a verification of his parents. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking time to read my request!

Hello! My name is Sara. I was wondering if you could give me some information on this particular memorial number and if you had any specific details on John Joseph Walker. He is my 3rd great grandfather and can find nothing much on him. Also, too, was wondering if you knew if all the Walkers in the West State Street Cemetery in Athens, OH were related? Thank you so much!!

Thanks so much for your prompt action on my transfer request. Appreciate all you do to remember our ancestors.
|Edward Dean||George Smelser|
WJW ~ I walked the Saint Lukes Lutheran Church Cemetery yesterday for about 45 minutes. Unfortunately I did not find George Smelser. I did find a section with several Smelser's that died around the same time but not George. That older section of the Cemetery has more than 100 very old gravestones that are no longer readable. Being that George died in 1857 his gravestone could be one of the unreadable ones. ~ Ed
