I Have done geneology off and on for many years. I live in Michigan between Flint and Lansing and most of my ancestors for the last couple of generations are from Michigan. My family comes from Northern Michigan and I have spent a great deal of time in those cemeteries as well and the ones in mid Michigan. I Am currently working on a "booklet" about my grandparents - Clinton & Doris Burns. I have enjoyed meeting new "cousins" thru find a grave. I decided my winter project would be to photograph the head stones in my local cemetery and make sure all the graves and markers are on find a grave. I have a good start and am looking forward to working my way thru it this winter.|

I'm sorry but you have made a couple of mistakes on Rick Kline's memorial page. His middle initial (L) was omitted and he was born in 1950, not 1960.
|Dawn Unbehaun- Schutt-Oswald||Hello|
I have family in Byron and vernon and else where. I myself live in Flint, but I am from the Ovid, Owosso area. I am going to start on the Cemetery close to me as soon as the weather is nice enough to do walks with little ones.
I do see that you have an Uncle of mine his name is Owen W. Deming # 80269442. Would it be possible to transfer him to me?

Thank you, Pam. Yes, I'll take ownership.
I think those are the only two photos I have of my Aunt Lena! I was lucky to have them.
|Helen||RE: William tillman|
Hi Pam, I appreciate your pointing out the Byron Cemetery database, it not only provided me the info on my William Tillman but I also located a few other Tillmans who had been hiding from me! Oh goodness, now my Tillman family history pile will be getting bigger and bigger! Hope that you and your family are having a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend, Helen Murphy, Nashville, TN

Thank you so much!! I am trying to find my Aunt Arlene Boist Gabriz and her husband John as well. There is a memorial on here for her but him. If possible, can you see if you can find them in Greenwood?? Also, maybe see if their obituaries are available as well? Just let me know how much I need to send you. Thanks again!

Thank you so much for the information. I have been trying to sort out the Middlesworth relationships for quite some time and this will help. I have been in contact with Sharon Grainger at Byron Cemetery for the past couple of years and she has been a tremendous help. Although she admits that many of the records were never kept up until 1900 and then many of the records after 1900 were in disarray. She has spent the past 40+ years working on the local genealogy as it relates to those interned at the cemetery.
Many assumptions have been made in the past on notes and then have been uploaded to the internet as fact... I have been able to disprove some relationships that are found on findagrave.com and will need to help the custodians for a number of the Byron Cemetery Middlesworth memorials correct some of the facts.
I truly appreciate your help on this. Thank you so much,
I was wondering if you would still be able to get copies of my grandparents and uncle's obituaries. You took phots of their graves for me a while back. They are Wray, Dora and Walter Boist in Greenwood cemetary in Vernon. Please let me know if you will still be able to and I will send you something to cover costs. Thanks.
|Bonnie B.||RE: Joseph pierson|
I returned to visit the cemetery. Next to Joseph's grave is a stone marker for the children of Joseph and Hephzibah Pierson (Pairson), Joseph, Elizabeth and Mary. There are no specific dates for these children, but the stone reads, "Children of Joseph & Hephzibah Pairson Here lyes our little son Died in his tender Age With his two little Sisters young All were delightsome babes In'th deep and silent grave They are in Number three . . . . . . .
There you have the info. If I get time, I will enter memorials for them. Or you can create the memorials and I will add the photos.
Sincerely, Bonnie B
