RE: Mary E. Duncan
Hello, I've been looking at blowups of the picture I took today, and here's the best I can do: Mary E, Daughter of Capt K. Auld, Wife of J.D. Duncan, May 8, 1822, Sept 21, 1888, (I can't make out the verse at the bottom of the stone).

Capt K. Auld is an educated guess - I did a little sleuthing on Ancestry, and it looks like her maiden name was Auld, although they give her father's name as "Capt Edward Auld". Hope this helps.

Sorry I didn't replay back sooner, I didn't know where your replay was. I wanted to tell you the history of the stone, which my mother would be thrilled to hear it caught your eye. The stone is very beautiful.
My mother put a lot of thought into the design of the stone. Their song was let me call you sweet heart which they sang to each other all the time. That is why my Father's heart reads: Let me call you Sweetheart and My Mother's heart reads: I'll always be your sweetheart. As in life, my Mother choice to recognize their love and include her children, which she illustrated with the five angels on the large top heart, which includes our names and year of birth.

Opal Giroux
Hi, I have tried contacting you before, I was curious about Opal Giroux? My grandfather is Paul J Gouldsberry and I have been trying to find information on his family. I believe Opal may have been his sister?
