I am interested in a variety of things. I am very active with 4-H Youth, especially, with the 4-H Genealogy Project presenting workshops & being an Indiana State Fair Judge for 4-H Genealogy Exhibits. Former Forestry Judging Coach for 11 years. Active in local Democratic Party politics and Young Democrats, but my life passion is genealogy. Active in the Tri-State Genealogical Society, former President, currently serving as Vice-President, Web & Blog Master. I am active in The Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) as President of the Ohio Valley INSSAR Chapter and serve in the Color Guard. I am the Indiana Society SAR elected Historian/Archivist. In parades I wear a Revolutionary War militia uniform guarding the U.S. 13-Star Flag and call the commands when we march. As "Indiana Bones," I present a variety of genealogical & cemetery programs & workshops. Married with 3 sons and 2 grandchildren. | |

 | RE: Meta McWilliams You are very welcome. Are you interested in managing any of the McWilliams' or Quick's I have entered? If you are, send me a transfer request through the edit tab. If not, I don't mind keeping them under my management, I just wanted to put the offer out there. | | | Barbara DiLella

 | My Dad's Grave Dear John,
Thank you for entering my dad onto this site. I found out about this yesterday. That picture you have on the site is one I never saw. I really appeciate it. I have not been back to that part of North Carolina since my mom's funeral. I never got to meet very many of my relatives on my dad's side of the family. My brother Johnny and I are trying to learn as much about his side of the family and about him before he married his mom. Please email me at dr_ron_11@ymail.com. I would love to share phone numbers and get a chance to talk. I think I got a chance to me you in the early 1980's when you were in South Carolina. As guess as we get older our memories begin to outnumber our future, so I want to add to the memories, so I can share them with my children.
Your Cousin

 | Annie and Laura Leffew Thank you so much for the pictures, I didn't think I would ever get them, it had been so long since I had requested them.
You made reference to J. E. Leffew's stone, did you take a picture of it by chance?
Thanks again so much. Laura Riggsby is my Aunt's great grandmother, she is going to be so thrilled to have a copy of this picture, she didn't even know where she was buried.
Thanks for being a volunteer too.

 | RE: Haynes of VA & KY thanks for your information. When I was in KY last summer I saw the graves of John Barton Haynes and some of the other Haynes. I don't know if I could find the graves again. I think we have talked before. | | | | [View all messages...] |
