Bio and Links
I love researching family history and was so happy when I found this site.

Thanks to everyone (PAST, PRESENT, & FUTURE) who has contributed information.

As always, corrections, family links, additional inoformation is always welcome.

Adding Veterans was my main goal as there are too many lost & forgotten.

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to add veterans in their area.

If anyone knows of a veteran not listed, please add and give them a flag.

Bernard L. Brown connection to Mary Frances Brown
Greetings,

My paternal GM was Mary Frances Brown (born 4 March 1888 in Jefferson County, West VA, D 30 Dec 1973 in Clarksville, TN). Her father was Charles William Brown (this is from Ancestry.com and I can not remember how solid this is) born 27 July 1857 in Jefferson, West Virginia, died in June of 1923. His father was Frank M. Brown, born in 1830, D 04 March 1888.

Do you have information that would make a connection between Bernard L. Brown and Mary Frances Brown?

Many thanks,

W.Moffattpersona

Hedrick
Hello,

My great-grandma, Florence Miller Brown, was the great-granddaughter of Susannah Hedrick Miller. There is family history that Susannah's mother (?) was half Seneca. Just trying to find more information. I know we have Mowery relatives.

Jeannette Valentine
Just sent some edits regarding her. She was married and had two children. Her husband married again in 1905 after her death. Her grave stone is hard to read. It looks as though her name is Jennette. Remotely it could be Jennetta. Is she related to you? Do you know what the last letter is? I am fairly certain the first 7 are correct by reading the stone.

Marie Bernice (Wolford) Sayre
You haven't yet listed Marie Bernice (Wolford) Sayre B.7/12/1926 D. 6/25/2008. She was born to Hess Wolford and Mamie Ethel (Bonner) Wolford on the page for Hess Wolford. Marie is buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Ohio.

I commend you for taking on this job, I'm sure it takes hours of time working on different pieces of a puzzle that has most of the pieces missing.

RE: Mamie Ethel Bonner
I can provide you her obit, if there was a way to do that. I really have some doubts about Toye's middle name also being Ethel. There was also another child in that list of children by Saul Bonner and his second wife. His name was Boyd and he died very young.

Maimie Ethel (Bonner)-Wolford-Bell was my stepmother. My father was Owen G. Bell. Marie Bernice (Wolford) Sayre was my step-sister. Marie died in 2012. She is also buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newark, Ohio.

I think Marie's middle name Bernice was for Virginia Alice Flanagan's mother

I was to Flanagan Cemetery years ago, in 1959.

Caroline Metz Keller
Caroline was the daughter of Fenton Miles Metz and Pearl Hetzel-Kitzmiller Metz. The site says Pearl Metz Keller.
Just wanted to make that correction. Thanks for posting the picture and information.
