|Judy Westman||RE: August Ritter #148491158|
Could there be 2 different August/Augustus Ritters in the C-bus area at the time? There is one census record for August + Katherine with children's names and the next census has August and Barbara with no children. The one daughter showing Barbara as mother is not one of the names of the August/Katherine group.

Want to clarify your edit suggestion for his 1st wife Katherine Wurcherer Ritter #99898627. Right now his eldest daughter Mary Ritter Baldeser is linked to wife A Barbara Schuell Ritter (#148491331) via death certificate evidence. Barbara is the spouse buried with August. Do you have contradictory evidence that would warrant switching Mary's maternal link to Katherine Wurcherer? Admittedly death certificate evidence isn't the end all but just want to be sure before starting the 21 day process.
|fran carte||Adam L Hartung|
Just found your listing for Adam. Thank you. Now can add to my info. Appreciate you taking the time to do this.
|fran carte||Adam L Hartung|
Adam was the oldest of the children, Anton(Anthony) was born Jan 1879. There was an uncle named Adam Hartung born about 1878 or 1879. My grandmother in 1881, George 1884 and Charles 1887. The info on the second son's headstone indicates 1879 as his birth.
My info came from my grandmother and I have not accessed vital statistics in Columbus. Maybe her info was wrong.
Thanks for the reply.

Thank you for this information. There is an older Hartung brother and 2 Frischman/Freshman 1/2 brothers. Can I add the info. or do you need to update?

|Sharon Brevoort||William Shattuck death record|
Thanks for the FamilySearch link to William Shattuck's death record, Zelda. I hadn't seen that one yet. The death was in March but found among April deaths. That would be because the records are in order by the date they were filed with the county and the person reporting them was a little late. I've updated he memorial.
|Nancy Ann Mull Buchanan||Joseph Englehardt|
Thank you. I updated his record.
You've got this little guy listed as burial unknown... he's at Mt. Calvary, according to the Franklin Co. Probate Court death records. Born and died June 2, 1890. His Dad's in Portsmouth; I'll send a link.
|Judy Westman||RE: Mt Calvary CA-DSL section|
The vast majority of graves in the DSL section are actually marked. Probably only about 10% are unmarked. A lot of the 3 grave lots only have 2 interrments, but intentionally -- the headstones are for a couple and are central on the plot. Those have recordings of 1 1/2 and 2 1/2.
|John C. Engel||Christian Engel, Sr., and family|
Thank you for the wonderful picture of this family plot! It is great evidence for my attempt to piece together who were the members of this distant family.
