I have always been interested in family history, even as a young kid. I was lucky enough to know two great grandmothers who helped with the family history. Cora (Ruby) Reynolds kept many letters, obituaries and artifacts from her family which made documenting the family so much easier.

Unlike others, please feel free to use the photos that I have taken in any way you wish.

Daniel and Ada Lisle Sowash
Cousin Richard,

Ada Amy Lisle's parents are Mariman and Margaret Anderson Lisle, buried nearby. Mariman and Margaret are my 2nd great grandparents. Ada's sister Carrie, who married Alben Butler, are my great grandparents.

Garnet was a child of Alben and Carrie Lisle Butler. She died shortly after her marriage to Otto Aufrance, in the flu epidemic of 1918/1919.

I have lots more information, obituaries, and biographic sketches, viewable online at the following site
that link will take you to Mariman Lisle's page.

I have been to the Shrimplin Cemetery 2 times and am related to almost everyone buried there, they are all connected thru inter-marriages and so forth. I have tried to connect as much as I can, but some find-a-grave people have not responded to my requests to take over or have them link them.

If you look at the information, or have any or more questions, please let me know. Also drop me a line if you find the information useful, sometimes I wonder if anyone is really interested, until I get an email like yours.
