Bio Photo First and foremost... Many thanks to the two interpreters that have been a tremendous help: Nicholas Maskalick and Frank Klawonn

Our Motto: No Cemetery too big, no Cemetery too small, if we can't find a marker, it's not there at all!
We, the genealogist and the photographer, really enjoy being volunteers for Find-a-Grave. It is very gratifying to be helping others and making new friends. Also, it is enjoyable seeing the earlier generation's monuments, crypts and markers.
We are a retired military family (USMC). After over 22 years we settled in Pittsburgh, Pa. Charlie is from Tennessee, Mary grew up in Pittsburgh. (Mary won the tossup.)
Thanks to all for the great responses of our findings. They are the icing on the cake!

Thanks so much for the fine photo. I am so grateful for your efforts. Sunday we are going to a military reunion for the men who survived the Vietnam war. There are many who will view this stone with reverance.
God bless you

Hi Folks,

I noticed you have taken photos at the Calvary Cemetery in Pittsburgh, specifically a Vietnam KIA John P Carey # 65380611. I have had a photo request in for awhile and wondered if you would be so kind as to take a photo for another KIA. He is Lawrence R Costello, #125300066. I have a burial site for him on the request. His parents, John and Marion are also buried in same section.

Re. Elizabeth Tanney
Unbelievable! We arrived in Pittsburgh this evening to research relatives in St Mary's in Lawrenceville. We have been trying to find Bernard ( Barney) Tanney and confirm his wife was Elizabeth. They would be my great-great uncle and aunt. My great grandmother, Mary Tanney Kiley was sponsored by her uncle Barney when she immigrated from County Tyrone, Ireland. Mary's second son, my grandfather moved to Akron Ohio in the 1920s ..Mary moved there too and lost contact with family in PA. We had sketchy details of Uncle Barneys kids...the accompanying obit confirms this is a long lost and long looked for relative. We will be in the area for 4 days, drove from Connecticut , where I now live. We will hit st Augustine, two st marys, Lawrenceville and Sharpsburg and Allegheny. My great grandfather, John kiley and his daughter, Sarah, both buried in sec M lot 386 space 4, have no tombstone. We hope to rectify that, if we can find a monument supplier in area. Many many many thanks.
