Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in genealogy back in 1997 when i wanted to find information about my biological father and my ancestors on his side. After finding some info on him i was hooked and haven't lost interest...seems the more i find the more i want to know, plus i enjoy helping others with their research.

Smith, William McKinley born Nov 25, 1896 Crystal Valley, Oceana Co., Mich. died June 15, 1992 Hart, Mich.,
Parents: William Hansford Smith b. 3 OCT 1846 Laurel, Kentucky d.9 OCT 1912 Mont Ida, Anderson, Kansas & Axa Triphenia Bromley b.12 JUN 1858 New York d.18 SEP 1936 Crystal, Oceana, Michigan.

Note: This is the wrong father for William M. Smith. His marriage record shows his father as Wilbert Delsene Smith (1858 - 1951).

Will you make the corrections?

Well, I just hit the wrong key....

to continue....I leave a note on the request that "I know there's no stone. Please put some large enough to see on the GPS site and take a photo (and post it on the memorial)"

That's about all I can tell you. Just remember to first read the problem, then delete the request, make yourself a note on each memorial involved and if you wish....make a NEW request with a note similar to mine above here.

It's easier than you may think. "TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT! LOL

want to talk to me? call (574)806-5129

PLEASE DELETE THIS MESSAGE AFTER READING...I don't give out my phone number to many.

Nope! You're on the memorial page for a person. You need to be on the CEMETERY page. Click on the name of the cemetery on any memorial page and it will take you to the cemetery page. There you will find a list of different things/places you an go (upper right side of the page), On the left side of this page there's the cemetery' address, phone number (sometimes) and on the top of that page is the name of the cemetery.

Use the right side to select the line with the word request in it. This will bring you to a list of people who have requested a photo of someone...the top 4(?) are yours. You'll see (IN RED) that a problem was found by someone trying to fill your request CLICK on the "Open" just above the red words...read the problem...understand it....make yourself a note for later....then delete the message.

Now what you do with the information is up to you. It might be best to add a note to each memorial concerned so no one will try again to get a photo as there is no stone.

I sometimes (after deleting the "problem note")
Put a note behind the plot info...NO STONE And then ask again for a photo request with a note explaining that I

RE: sophia cartwright
Go to the cemetery page on the right side near the top is a group of items...including request, add name, etc.

By clicking on the request line it will bring you up to a page of over 70 memorial persons' names. Chose Sophia Cartwright's and you'll have no problems from there on! (You delete the old request if the new info isn't added automaticaly.)

All the "buttons" are somewhere in F.A.G. It just is a little complicated sometimes. I had to learn it one step at a time by myself....I even found a duplicate cemetery in VA when I first started and learnt in a "trial & error" until I moved all the graves to the properly named one (had to contact each "graver" to tell them how to do it).

RE: Edit
I had been writing under the edit heading and maybe it was not coming along with it.The memorial is suppose to come with the edit message. If it does not I can see that my messages are hard to follow.

RE: Elizabeth
Elizabeth was Sharon Houghton's mother. She did not really like me, but she died in 1977. Jerry Schlagel Sr. was her father. James and Jerry Jr were Sharon's brothers.Jerry put Sharon's sister in jail at insistance of his mother.
John T is a poster on Find A Grave site ,that I've known since grade school in middle 1960's. He won't recognize that I knew him so many years ago. His sister worked for my wife 15 years ago.
Once again I don't think I can send an E mail without a return.
As far as the page from your book, it's probably floating somewhere since I no longer have a credible Email. Somebody wanted my info,so they could launch scams? I cancelled out most people that correspond out side this site.
