Bio and Links
I have enjoyed Genealogy for over 25 years and walked many cemeteries in search of family. Many people have helped by providing research along the way. So,hopefully my small contribution will help others in locating members of their families.

Please notify me of any data entry errors as I would like to honor you and your family as much as possible.

My "roots" are in the Cusick and Meineke families in Cincinnati, Ohio. My wife's family is from Harlan and Bell Counties in Kentucky.

Disclosure:
Please do not totally rely on what was posted by me or for that matter anyone else. As I cross check head-stones, to cemetery records, to the Social Security Administration database, to death certificates, I see many discrepancies. Most people a hundred years ago did not see the value of accurate record keeping. I also accept record changes unquestioned and unverified. Last, but not least, and very probable, I may have inadvertently miss-type some information.
So while this information is hopefully a good place to start, please cross check and make your best judgment as to what is accurate. I'll be happy update /correct any record's information.

Transfer Policy:
There will be a (nonmonetary) cost for transfers.

First:
Please add value to the record. Link other people too it, add information, add pictures. In other words, show there was a reason you wanted the record transferred.

Second:
I and others have family we cannot find. Please find a cemetery close to you and spend some time adding graves to Find-A-Grave of people who are not related to you. I helped you, you reciprocate and help others. If we all participate and help each other by building the database, we will all have a great tool. I am donating 1,000's of hours helping you find your history, please spend a few minutes helping others.

Mike,

Thank you for transfering the memorial of my cousin Maria to me. I have added additional information and a link to her mothers memorial. I am still trying to find out where Maria's father and husband are buried. As soon as I can find out this information I will place memorials for them on Find A Grave and link them to Maria.

Thank you again for your kindness.

Regards,
Jack W. Davis

Dear Mike,
What an artistic eye you have. Thank you for posting a picture of the grave of my g-g grandmother Caroline Scheidt Armbrust. The shot is absolutely beautiful. I hope you know how much I appreciate it.

Thanks again!

Henry "Hank" Stanecki, Jr
Thank you so much for posting Hank's memorial. I have searched for it from time to time but never found it til now. Hank was in the Marine Corp with my husband, stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. We were all far from home and made our own "family". Hank came over often and was always a sweetheart. He had boyish innocent ways about him that were so endearing. He and another friend left our house one day to visit another Marine that had already gotten out. He never returned. They were involved in an accident on their way back to base. We were all devastated. I've never forgotten Hank and now, his memory will live on virtually, here on F.A.G. Thanks for all you do. It does make a difference.

Peter "Downs" memorial
Hi Mike,
I have a suggested correction for the following memorial:

Peter "Downs" - Memorial # 58919544

I took pics of monument and the spelling should be "Downes". All others in that lot are spelled Downes as is his name on the monument. I noticed that it is also spelled incorrectly on the Spring Grove website (BUT spelled correctly on his burial report). Do you have a way of reporting this to Spring Grove?
Thanks,
Jenny E. #47958692

Marker 77513874
Greetings!

I was looking for any information about a mysterious relative of mine who shows up only once in a census named ADLAD. I was thinking that might be a misspelling of Adelaide, so I was searching for that, and I found Memorial# 77513874 which you created. The Find-a-Grave entry says that her name was Adelaide, but the name on the photo seems to end in -LEDE. Also, the dates on the grave are clearly 1850-1926, but you have entered 1850 - April 12, 1926. I was hoping you might have some more information about this person you could share that led you to the more specific information.
