|Has been associated with Concordia Cemetery Association since 2004. We are a small group of volunteers, Since 2004 we have restored over 400 markers, replaced the stolen lichgate and area signs. We have created a data base of 16,800 burials.|
I Became involved in the management because the cemetery had fallen into disrepair after abandonment. I have over sixty relatives buried in Concordia and believe that they, and all those on the property, deserve the respect and protection of a properly maintained site to preserve both the dignity and history of our families for the future.

Thank you for the photo, your effort is much appreciated.

Many thanks Wayne for having a look for Walter's burial record/grave for me. It's a shame there's nothing to be found but the newspaper article regarding his death and funeral is a good find and helps fill the gap.
Thanks again and cheers
I did not do any pics for East Harrisburg Cemetery for that memorial.

|Gerald Ruth ||graves of RUTH|
My cousin Roger Pohl and his wife spoke to you last month at a meeting involving Buffalo's Concordia cemetery. He wanted to give an e-mail address of me but did not have it. You wrote him a letter giving some information on the Ruth family graves...he told me there were six. You stated in your letter to him that you had some added information on Jacob Ruth's (my grandfather) parents Dan and Carol. My father's name was Herbert J. Ruth, he and his wife died in Indiana; They lived in New Albany, near my wife and I.
If at all possible I would like the info. on Dan and Carol. Also, I understand that "infant" Ruth (I believe that to be my brother) is buried at Concordia. I would also like to know if you have any information whatsoever on Anna Ruth. Thank you so much for your efforts. Also, grandpa Jacob's wife was named Caroline, she died way back in 1905. I thought she would be buried at Cocordia.
Gerald D. Ruth
