I love doing Genealogy and will be more than happy to help out a fellow FAG member whenever I can.|
If I have entered a memorial that is not a family member of mine and you are connected and would like to maintain the memorial, please send me the request using the suggestion option.
If I have entered a family member of mine that is also a family member of yours and you have information you would like added, please let me know as I will be more than happy to add it to the memorial.
If you believe any of the information that I have entered is incorrect please suggest a correction. I do not normally add false information, most of the information that I add has been found and documented, however we are all human and therefore there may be human errors made by mistake.
NOTE: It is a beautiful thing when someone not related to you takes the time to help a fellow member -- Many thanks to all who have and will help another in the future.
I will NOT transfer any of my family members memorials so please do request one.
I don't mind when you use my photos for your own purpose, however I do not like to see that you have taken my photo(s) and claimed it as your own.

Shari, You're welcome. That was a very difficult monument to photograph because of the type of stone and the highly polished surface.
There were several more names on the stone that are not currently in Find A Grave. I can add them or I can give you the names and dates so you can create and maintain the pages. Let me know how you wish to proceed. Bob

There is a book available on Http://archive.org on the Bliss family entitled "Genealogy of the Bliss family in America, from about the year 1550-1880 (1880/81)". Anyway it states "JONATHAN, son of Thomas Bliss of Belstone, Eng., was born at that village about the year 1575 or 1580. Like his father, he was doomed to bitter persecution On account of his nonconformity and opposition to the
iniquitous practices that had obtained in the dominant church party which had assumed control not only of the government, but also of the consciences of the people. He was subjected to heavy fines, much ill treatment, and a long imprisonment, during which he contracted a fever from which he never recovered. He died 1635-6. It is not known who he married or when, but he had several children born to him, four of whom are said to have died young ; the remaining children wereŚ
7. *Thomas, b. , d. 1649.
This book can be downloaded and is free on line. I have used it for my Bliss branch of the family. Hope this will answer any questions about any of the Bliss family for you or any of the many Find A Grave readers.

Shari, you must know Jennifer Decker then! She just joined findagrave and is now maintaining his memorial! I am sure she would love to hear from you. We could not tell from your profile if you knew him....she will be elated!

Shari, Thanks for seeking out information on Paul as I was able to link him to his parents. Paul was a grandfather to my niece Jennifer! How wonderful to have them all linked! Thank you for all of your work! Georgia
|CJ Moore||RE: Correction|
Thanks Shari.., Or should I say, Cousin! :)
Always nice to meet new cousins.
Charles is my 4th Great-Granduncle. His brother James is my 4th Great-Grandfather. Atkinson is from my mothers side. I have mainly been working on my fathers side, Moore, Fisher, Curtis and Steed for a while and placed gravestones as I found unmarked and straightened up some mistakes in Find a Grave as I went.
Now I'm working on my mothers side, Atkinson, Nelson, Tuttle and Sines.
Thanks for the help. It looks like you've been pretty busy with Find a Grave. That's great you have the time to put in it.
I work slow, but I will help out in any way I can.
Write me directly to my email if you wish.
I would like to get more immediate family history from you and get to know you better.
Thanks again Shari.

Hi Shari, first of all...Thanks for all the work you do on Find a Grave.
There are two memorials that need to be corrected that you did not know the burial place.
Memorial # 35895915. I don't know how you can do this , but memorial # 57489893 is the correct memorial for Charles Atkinson. However, it was entered by a different person and the parents and spouse are not listed on it. You both should probably contact each other to try to get it correct.
He is buried at the Old Cameron Cemetery in Monroe Co. Ohio. He was in the PA militia during the Revolutionary War.
The other memorial # is 41331104. You added it also as Burial place unknown. William A. Atkinson is already added correctly as memorial # 27595810.
Another one is an easy fix. It is memorial # 23785941. It simply needs deleted as James Atkinson is listed twice at the same graveyard and his correct memorial # 27591812 has all the correct info on it.
Sorry for all the corrections needed, but I am a direct descendant of this Atkinson line and am trying to get all corrections made as I find them.
Thank you very much. If you would prefer to transfer these three memorials then I will be glad to correct and manage them. I am listed as CJ Moore. My membership # is 48467450.
