NO birth dates calculated from the stone. Submit birthdates WITH SOURCE to "Edit/Suggest any other correction or addition".
My pictures are for your personal use and only if you cite me as the source.
Consider making virtual cemeteries for your ancestors/relatives if your request for a transfer puts you out of guidelines.
Please read the FAQs for the proper way to submit edits. I do reserve the right to decline edits.
Sorry, requests not made correctly or left on this page will be DELETED.
You may add pictures yourself to any memorial by clicking on Add Photo then select grave, person, family, or other.
Sorry this is so terse. If you follow the guidelines we'll all have a wonderful experience. Have fun searching this site.

Thanks for the info on Harry Hicks being buried in Swartwout Cem. Harry was my husband's father and is obviously the same man I have listed in the Firemen's Home Cem. His NY death certificate states that he is buried there in a private Cem. Do you suppose they could be one and the same? They are both listed on or off Harry Hudson Blvd.
Do you live in the area or do you have more info? I will try to get a phone number and get more info. All I was going on is the death certificate info.
You sent me a correction earlier today regarding my brother's gravestone. I would appreciate it if you remove your record, since it is a duplicate of mine, and by Find A Grave rules should not have been created. I have never been informed that the name of the cemetery has changed from where he was buried 4 years ago.

Elsie, many thanks for posting all the photos. If you live in the area of Alford or are planning a trip there, could you look for the cemetery that I posted at this Memorial# 114279889. When we were there in May I tried several times to try to locate it on the West Rd, but no luck. I have since found out that the (DAR) survey that included what I call the Holmes Cemetery was done in 1936, so it may be totally gone. I wrote what I learned about the Holmes plot on the info for that cemetery. Just click on the name Holmes to go to it. The Bakers are my ancestors, so if you could find the cemetery & headstones, I would be most appreciative. Sharon
